Just want to share this cuz I'm still amazed and delighted that I am no longer chained to chainsmoking.

Today marks four wonderful years of freedom. Sometimes, like today, it's hard to believe that I used to have to smoke from the second I woke up till I went to sleep. I'm so very grateful to the original inventors of the e-cig.

My very first vape on a pen-style and I knew that, with one of those, I'd finally be free.

Who woulda guessed that somewhere down the road I'd be vaping on a box thingy that in no way resembled a cig?!

And, most importantly, that I'd come to know and love and admire and want to hang out, here and in real life, with so very many kind, generous, funny, crazy, intelligent whackos!

Thank you fine people for welcoming me and putting up with me ( i.e., Karen's first phone call to me and one of my first posts:facepalm:
I coulda been booted outa here...but I wasn't:)

So now, for good or evil, you're stuck with me!:p
congrats darlin:wub:

Congrats, OldBroad. Four years is quite an accomplishment. You ROCK!!!
jifjif how've you been ?

*******************Downer Warning****************

SO I just got off the phone with my mother for the first time in months. I was never the prodigal son... My mother basically just told me to enjoy my next deployment to Afghanistan, and that I am not welcome at the family Christmas.....

I believe that everybody deserves a second chance. I do not expect any sympathy for what I have experienced while down range... but to hear my own mother tell me that I am not welcome with the family....

I am going back to the suck in less than three months... I have more people worried about how they are going to refill their Brown Bomber than I have family worried about my safety.

ARRRGRBRGLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry... carry on with your regularly scheduled program.... worthless monkey brings nothing top the family...

/end drama
your welcome at my house anytime and thank you for your service brother!

nice VVG Lisa:wub:

afternoon Reonuts

Thanks, Pietro...and everyone else! :) It's my very first Grand. Can you believe it....over 3 years and I finally have a Grand.

What? YOU didn't have a grand? Are my eyes deceiving me as I read this? I thought you had one of everything, even things that never were made? My entire world is shaken

Nope...you're seeing it correctly. I've never had a want or need of a Grand....but after I borrowed Wayne's and already adapted to the VVG...it is only natural that I finally get one. I'm one of the most resistant to change type people I know. I started with a mini and that was perfect for me. I wanted one in every color. The grands...never wanted one (until recently). Then came the 18490...wasn't overly thrilled, but I got one just to see if I liked it. FAB! When the variables came out, I wanted nothing to do with it. I had to get one though so I could learn about it and answer questions, etc. Now I can't put the silly thing down.
Wood mods are kind of the same thing. I have minis, superminis, 18490s and a couple of variables...but no 18650s.
