That's brilliant. Seems that dogs have a better sense of sarcasm than most Americans! Don't take offence, it's a cliche anyway.

At least you can get it, eventually! Good life vapor, deadly sin, which is/was my adv has been cut off. Jeremy has said he'll ship to France but that means waiting till Xmas, as that's when we see the misses family. Loved ave banana slurry, flue cured as well, but not in reo as it just brings another dimension to it as opposed to the flavour muting evods.

Afternoon REOville! Now that I'm back to regular hours, it means sever hours of my day sitting here waiting for files grrrrr... I have to do my Self Assessment by Friday, who thinks these things up? I'm an underwriter, not a fantasy novel writer. I hate that stuff. Hope you are having a better day than me, I'm sitting here day dreaming about retirement.

Good (insert time of day) REOvillians! and Den, resident REOvillain!

The other night I had made something in the crock pot and casually mentioned that I was thinking it wasn't getting as hot as it used to and was cooking slower, and the other one was the opposite it was too hot. The next day DH went to Costco (where else?) as he loves to do, to pick up a few things, and came home with a new one! And here I thought he never listens to a thing I say. I thought that was very sweet! It was just a casual remark too, not really asking for one at all.

It has a recipe in the booklet for whole chicken. I have never done a whole chicken in it, I always roast it whole and crock parts. Since it is too cold for spatchcocking and grilling, I decided that next time chicken was on sale I would try it. Guess what is on sale? So I have a chicken that is gonna get crocked. But I have a question: Has anyone tried doing a whole chicken in the crock?

And KAY, how do you do your crispy skin? I am afraid it won't get that wonderful crispyness I like so may either 1) broil it a bit after it cooks (but that might be a bit of a mess) or 2) take the skin off afterwards and just broil that. Do you have any ideas for me?

Odd way to get it to Ohio.

I see they changed post offices to our local one. I mentioned it to them when they first moved here, but they said they go to the main one in town, and didn't know about the itty bitty one we have here. Though that has nothing to do with it once it leaves here, and is in USPS hands.

I see it went through Santa Clarita, and I am surprised it didn't go through the hub in Bakersfield (which adds an extra day). Maybe that was the problem, USPS routed it differently for this shipment instead of through the hub? Can you tell I take mail stalking extremely seriously?

Hi Cheri! My sis called yesterday...they have 4 in.'s of snow!

LOL I saw north of me got a lot more. Thankfully ours was just a dusting and a lot of sleet. Seen they had a lot of accidents and roll overs due to icy conditions! Guess Old Man winter is upon us! And I am not even enjoying it! LOL

Just tried bobas bounty for the first time... Dunno what to think... Should a 100ml bottle need to steep for a while first? (I only got 100ml cuz i heard from someone that it was the bees knees, otherwise i try small orders first)

I love mine as soon as I get it. But of course let it steep and maybe you will like it more. I LOVE it! If you find it is not for you give me a shout if you decide to sell it. I am going to be needing to place an order for more soon anyways!

Good day Reoville....since I missed the morning:facepalm:

I had a new puter chair delivered a while ago, so I need to go put it together. Not to worry, I've done this before...I should have it together by Friday.... it's very thick leather with a lumbar adjuster...yippee! That means i can spend more time here!

Think you need to share some of that bowl of goodies! Actually I am looking forward to Halloween to get into the twins stash! LOL The rotten Mother that I am!

I do the old-fashioned roast-in-the-oven, covered with aluminum on around 325, then uncover, turn the oven on broil, put the chicken on the cookie sheet on the second level closest to the broiler and KEEP AN EYE ON IT.

I have been known to forget and then it's really crispy chicken:facepalm:

KEEP AN EYE ON IT. I have burned it a few times:facepalm: Taking the skin off should also work.

Well yeah, I roast mine too... BUT I wanna try crock potting it for the kicks and whistles with my brand spanking new toy :D

If I am reading it right, you are saying take the skin off after cooking and broil it on a cookie sheet AND KEEP MY EYE ON IT?
