I don't understand how that can be. Without a weekly bath, our dog is filthy and stinky from laying in fertilizer or who knows what kind of dirt she finds all day. I just don't GET IT! She has to find the most repulsive place and rub all over herself.
Come to think of it though, I washed her inside bed on Thursday, and she wouldn't lay in it. She got a bath today and is laying in it now. I guess she didn't want to get her bed all dirty, which I DO get. Even she knew she was disgustingly in need of a bath
Control. They both know if they roll in stink they get a bath. Both love the water for swimming and Bailey loves to kill the stream from the hose but a bath they both hate. So they learned get stinky ya get a bath

Our dog HATES water. We got her from the pound, so I can only think her previous owners must have used the hose as punishment or something. Even when we fill her water bowl, she slinks away. She hasn't quite made the connection to ick and bath though
This might be a stupid question, and sorry if it is, but do you guys do Halloween? And if so, what is Gatlin going to dress up as?
I think he might be too young to be into the super heros yet, but with his Dad's influence I can't even guess! Last year the little ones did a bunch of super mario and spongebob stuff. I am not sure what the big thing is going to be this year. I am sure Gatlin will be the cutest little guy whatever they do though!
I got I Thomas the train outfit but he won't wear it so I'm not sure. He might wear a fire and hat fitting as we will go to firehall for fireworks.

Oh and why wouldn't we do Halloween ? And no I don't live in an igloo my house is made just like houses down there. As matter of a fact more of your houses are made from Canadian wood than your wood

Well, as I said it may have been a stupid question, and I did apologize in advance for asking it... But you do celebrate Thanksgiving at some different time, and I think you have other holidays different so what do I know?

Anyone else notice the spider population this year? We have whole trees around here that are covered in them. I've never seen so many spiders before....I know this is typically spider season, but their numbers are amazing. Do they go in cycle like tent caterpillars do? I was figuring since I have a strong aversion to spiders...a great halloween costume for me this year would be wrapping myself in white gauze and attaching a 5' fuzzy spider to my shoulders and call myself dinner. ew....that just gave me chicken skin.

Spiders have been about normal here this year, but the scorpions have been out of control. 8-o

Hey Jen! It turned out he was counting from the right instead of the left. He was mesmerized by the KOA!
That's o.k. though, Valdez will always hold a very special place with me and I still think he is one spectacular Woodvil!

I am (sort of) just joking....you know that Valdez is the one Woodvil that I've been ga-ga about since the first time I saw pics. Valdez and the Zebra that our favorite biker chick Terry has/had.
