It was good although we spent Christmas Day in the hospital with the new baby being born Christmas Eve. But that only sucks cause doctors and nurses never give you any peace so I barely got any sleep. Otherwise was good being home for the baby's birth. And she's sick a way going baby only cries if she's hungry sleeps really well although she was awake at night more then day for the first two weeks. tmp_20140119_1728361921984490.jpg

Good evening Reoville!

It has been a long and tough day for me here at work. Lots of stuff to keep me pretty busy.

Went out this morning and put the key in the ignition. It would not turn. I turned the steering wheel some to see if it was jammed. Well that ended up locking it. Not good. I have had problems before when it got locked and the wheels were turned. Just wouldn't start then.
Anyway I kept trying and nothing. No movement of the ignition, like the key was not even in.
So, I thought that maybe the computer chip key was too cold and not telling the ignition that it was the right key.
Went inside and held the key for awhile to get it warm.
Back outside, slid it in...nothing. F.......sh.......... Got a little bit upset.
Then I remembered what I had done before when the steering was jammed.
I bounced in my seat a couple times and tried it.
Wallah! We have ignition! Battery was perfect and started it right up! YaY me!

See, I can post without complaining about the weather! LOL!

Moral of the story is: If you can't get it started, do a little dancing and get it going!

Good morning REOvillians. I guess I got behind again, I had a lot of catching up to do

Karen, glad you could dance your way out of a jam

Dave, so nice to see the baby! And thanks for reminding people that it is indeed HOSPITAL not Hilton ;)

Den - I thought of you as I was spatchcocking the poor chicken that ended up in my clutches yesterday (get it? Chicken, clutch.....) boy is it a beauty. If I could, I would take a picture of it relaxing in it's marinade and post it for you. I am going to shove it in a hot oven and roast it with some nice vegetables for dinner tonight. You are, of course, invited :D

Loli - while DH and I were on a walk yesterday I brought up the door again, and he hasn't come up with any reasonable explanation either. We have a neighborhood watch but for the life of me I can't find the number so may just end up going to the (whatever you call the head of the neighborhood watch?) and asking them if they had any reports of anything in the neighborhood. I think that would get the ball rolling as to any robberies in our specific area, and whether they advise reporting it or whatever they feel is appropriate since no one really got in?

As for me, PT has been working well and I've been pushing the home stuff. I finally found a medication that works for me that is non-narcotic, so I am walking for longer without the limp and pain coming back. So I have been getting out a LOT more than I have been able to since the accident. Yay!

I hope everyone has a great day, stay safe and warm those of you in the cold. It's time for DH to get up and go to work, and for me to get back to sleep
