That's true, not a Reo owner "yet". I'm unofficially a Provari fan boy. But three of my better ECF buddies (Red Hat Pat, Bob57, and Fourthrok) all have talked glowingly of their bottom feeders as of late. There must be something to this ritual that I'm missing out on. ;)

I knew you would come around on the tanks, then the ProVari, and now the REO? Too bad it took you so long!

Oh btw - Smurf is asking what that cheese was.

    T

    Quick drop in.

Cheese is Jarlsberg. The pic of it on Wikipedia, packaged, is the only way we've ever seen it sold in US. Used to have to get it in speciality stores going back to 70's but past ten or so years lots of groceries sell it. Best price for us is Costco large wedge. Most groceries have smaller wedges. We leave it out to soften to trim wax and hard edges (Sissy and DH's favorite part) and cut into hunks that fit under our cheese dome, rest into baggie and fridge. You can leave it out for weeks, under dome, at room temp. Of course that rarely happens here as we go through so much of it.

Happy MoM's Day Moms. Birthday greetings to Scott.

Howdy all other Fine REO Folk.

Jewels, don't tell anyone where you hide the cupcakes.

    Be or get well all.

    Hugs and love, Feisty Alice

Nothing wrong with a Provari. I love mine and use it daily. If I was going to be stranded with only 2 mods, got to have a backup ya know, it would be a REO and a Provari. Love them both! Different strokes for different folks. Reminds me of when I rode motorcycles, we had a saying. "It doesn't matter what you ride, just that you do ride!" We all have our favorites and it's cool to shout the praises of our favorite mod to the masses but it belittles us to put down the choice of others just because it is different than ours.

True. I have VV REOs with mechanical Grands for long term backups. And I have Provaris with mechanical GGs for long term backups. And I use them all. The tube mods are a necessity for me though because the absolute best, blow my socks off, RBAs I've ever laid my hands on don't work on bottom feeders. :)

One of the things I love about ECF is most people here get that and are supportive of others because they have found out about vaping and got off the ciggies. That's the real win for all of us.

My SB seems to have been relegated to testing duty since i got Reos - it is a fabulous device for dry burning coils, without worrying about shorting it. I have been advised not to try that with my Reo Grand since i risk hot spring collapse!

I have various other mods too, but that is because i am greedy and like to try all sorts of things. I saw the earlier post of that battered Grand that was run over - and i am thinking - just whack a mini battery and bottle in it - and it'll be fine!

I was quite interested in the Terrox - until i saw the price and the nightmare it is to re-coil.
