Hello again everyone! Well after snow here on Mother's Day (was not on my wish list) it is finally getting nice out! Not much new here. Still using my carto's that Pat turned me onto that I order from Rob. Still not getting it with the rba's. May end up selling them down the road. Just the performance of the carto's Rob sells is working fine for me. Just placed another order for 30 of them. Well got a good friend to try vaping. She was a VERY heavy smoker. Had an old EgoC with some clearomizers I just had laying around for a back up. Well set her up with it and got a call from her and both herself and her Hubby have not had an analog since she picked it up from me. She plans on coming over here tomorrow so I can order some new stuff for her. Trying to get her to buy a Reo but not sure that her funding (both retired on fixed incomes) will allow it. Just think it would be the best thing for her and after the inititial investment will be way worth it. Been stalking the classifieds for a good deal on one for her.
Well hoping all is well with everyone. With this nicer weather spend more time outside instead of on this computer!
Miss you all!

So I had been using my reo mini 18500 with regular sized A7 atomizers. Because the vendor I ordered an A7MINI from (cough vaporbank cough) actually sent me two A7 regulars instead of an A7mini and an A8tank. -___- Whatever. I found that I could use the A7 regular on my little Reo mini by unscrewing the center pin almost all the way out... Great! So I didn't even complain much to the vendor.

But I was reading in the ReoLounge last night and I found that people were having problems with their Reos shorting out from using the A7 atomizer, because unscrewing the center pin can short the mod... I immediately thought about how I was using an A7 regular on a mini and I was probably risking my Reo's life by doing so. So I stopped using the A7 and put a 510 atty on my Reo.

Tonight I remembered that I had a 510 to 510 unsealed adaptor and all is well again. I love these A7 attys. I'm almost happy that the vendor screwed up my order and sent me two of these because right after I ordered I read all about the A8 being a horrible tank. Soo I'm reallly happy right now. The A7 regular is working great on my mini and it doesnt have the air problems it did before. :)

Are those the super-short 1.7ohm cartos? I love those little suckers to death. PERFECT carto for the REO. If my REOs aren't sporting an RBA, they wear the super-shorty cartos. I'd buy 'em from Rob, but we have a vape shop here in town that stocks 'em and I keep the money local whenever I can.

Good afternoon Reonauts ..... Very important announcement here Paypal finally released my money to Rob!!!

Rob if you have a day job (aside from Reo's) you need to tell them you gotta go, cause sending a shipment to your Susie is top priority!!!! ROFLMAO

I will now rewrite a George Strait song to my lovely Metallic Red Grand named Reonardo

"If there's a plane or a bus leaving Maine I hope you're on it
If there's a train moving fast down the tracks I hope you caught it
Cause I swear out there ain't where you oughta be
So catch a ride catch a cab don't you know I need ya bad
But don't you walk to me

Reonardo run cut a path across the blue skies
Sraight in a straight line you can't get here fast enough
Find a truck fire it up lean on the gas and off the clutch
Leave Maine in the dust I need you in a rush
So Reonardo run ..."

Finally, a message to the USPS don't screw it up, or I'm gonna go postal on ur @$$ --just saying :p

Great minds think alike. Actually, you may have done the research but I let FATE play a role. You see folks, when I placed an order for my first ever new VVG I included one of each cartomizer and atty that rob had up on the site for two reasons. First, there aren't many listed and they're all inexpensive. Secondly, I wanted toknow why Rob choose to sell these.

Fast forward to unpacking the loot. Whatever shall I put on my first bottom juice feeding box mod experience? So, I put all the cartos and attys in a bag, closed my eyes and reached in to let fate decide. I pulled out this little thing that looked like an atty, slighly shorter than an HH.357 510 short barrel, popped off the cap, looked down the barrel and quickly realized, hey these are boge guts, looks like we got ourselves a carto folks!!

Metered it, 1.7ohm firm baby. Good, now I don't have worry about the unmarked buzzpro knob, set it to lowest and forget it! Priming? What Priming, so little polyfill it soaked up Bobas like no time, but tastewise it could have passed for any of my XL SR Boge cartotanks.

Scott, being there is only half of the procedure... you have to actually answer the door when they knock.

Having great fun with my Doohicky... of course mine is much larger than Pietro's but that's not really much of a surprise.

Good morning, Reonuts.

Jack

LOL morning buddy :)

The A7's are all I use on all my REO's, both the mini's and the regular sized ones. I had one problem with one, but that was my fault not the A7's. And I don't use the adapters at all, I don't like the way they look. But with any RDA on a mechanical, it would be best to use a vapesafe or short stop just in case. A coil can pop at any time, and changing a spring is no fun at all

I have a few others here, but none of them work (for me) as well as the A7 (for the price). I have been using RBA's for a while now, and have both the expensive ones and the cheapo ones. Since it is the coil and wick that deliver the vape, I really don't see a difference between the one I spent the big bucks on and the cheap one except maybe the machining. When I changed over to RDA's, I tried a few but the A7 looks nice and works perfectly on all my REO's. You just need to adjust it like any other RBA/RDA. :toast:

do you think maybe the ups guy will lace them up for me

Not if he is like the ones here, they are in such a hurry. I saw a show on UPS, and they are tracked by the minute with that little machine they have you sign as well as GPS on all vehicles which map out their route in detail. I am sure if he were to stop at any one location too long, management would want to know exactly why his efficiency suffered.

Maybe you will get lucky and they will come laced by the maker?
