My mum made one for us too - it's made of lace and about 300 little squares she made. Her eyes were not good so she could only work in daylight and it took her about 8 months.

Well if no one going to ask then I will....Lisa, what kind of camera are you using?
It is a Nikon D5200. The waterfront photos were taken with a 18-55mm lense. The rest were taken with the 18-300mm lense. thought I would play around with the other lense for a few shots. Costco has a nice package deal with the bag, two lenses and the wireless mobile adapter...and use the coupon.
Oh my goodness....that is delicate. Mine is just made from normal yarn....with the same muted colors of my living room decor.
And it's a good thing too....I'm a mess. I damage all things dainty (thus the Reos) and stain anything white. Total mess, I am. 
i stole that from her FB page. She's rightly proud of it and i am honoured she bothered to make it for me after we lost the revolution!
