Hey Cheri....the VV Woodvils went on sale April 28th, 2012. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...formation-most-recent-info-6.html#post5836791

The "new" switch he bought for the VVWs was rated well, but didn't perform well. For some they just stopped working, for others they didn't stop firing once pressed and released. So he immediately put the word out....and was happy to replace the switches on them. Just to be on the safe side, be sure to send it in for the replacement switch.

Here is the sale thread....and when we say sale, we mean event. Not reduced prices. When Rob puts up a new model for sale, its like a run on banks. Crazy...server crashed, pandemonium, stress....good times. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/291720-vv-reos-part-v-sale.html#post5941189

Here is the prototype http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/224175-reos-timeline-pictures-14.html#post5094203
The Beta http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/224175-reos-timeline-pictures-16.html#post5247121 & http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/224175-reos-timeline-pictures-17.html#post5253709
The Build http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/224175-reos-timeline-pictures-17.html#post5335710
and so on. You get the idea. :)

Enjoy.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Can someone tell me what stabilized means? Is it just that the wood it treated? Sealed? Back to being green behind the ears again!

The wood is pressure impregnated with resin and dye. It makes it harder but more susceptible to chips and cracking. It also gives neat colors and accentuates the wood grain.

Stabilized woods are often, but not always dyed with rich colors....and impregnated with an acrylic resin that helps solidify the softer wood material. Many of the burls have a very soft and sometimes rotten wood that you see as beautiful circular patterns. Under normal conditions, these woods can't stand up to normal wear and tear unless they are stabilized first....too brittle and soft. This doesn't mean they are waterproof or anything like that....it just gives the wood a more uniform strength. Not perfect, but good enough to use. :)
