Gil what kinda problems is the lava juice creating with the RM2?

Me too:(

Good morning Reopals:)

Pretty much anything that has rubber like Orings. In all fairness to Cinnabomb I do get 3X flavoring. I have burned my mouth when over sqounking and accidently rubbed my eyes not knowing I had a little on my fingers....I'll never do that again. Just a few drops on your hand and OUCH....Ok maybe that was an exaggeration! Seriously it will after time swell up Orings till they won't be able to be used.

Julie! I got your amazing gift yesterday....I posted here within an hour ( after I sampled each kind of treat and filled the gorgeous mug with fresh coffee) And took pics and posted them!

I wondered if you'd show up in time to see it! I keep looking at all the pics...what a SPECIAL treat!

I'm so glad you got it in one piece!! I didn't know if that mug would make it or not!! We are going to try to take pics tonight of the Reo family so I can show of my wonderful gift you sent to me! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did get to see the pics. I was running so much yesterday I was in/out of the house frequently. I had a hitchhiking frog jump on my bare leg in the car that almost made me run into an oncoming car...then hit a pigeon on the way home and had feathers all stuck in the grill....bad day for small animals vs my car LOL. Thought it was a good idea after that to stay home!

Wow!!!! Not that it's not really pretty now. It looks like some of the Ebonys Robert made. (Not all Ebony is solid Black or even Black.) Has it been exposed to a lot of light? And have you been using UV protectant on it? Before I got the Howard's hard paste wax, with UV protectant, I was using another paste wax to give more resistance and hardness to finish but was afraid that those waxes, with much more solvent in them than the Howard's paste, was actually removing the Howard's UV protection provided by the "liquid" wax. That's when I found the Howard's hard paste wax. Two issues with it. Carnauba wax is very hard and does need some solvent to be able to work with it and it takes a lot of elbow "wax" to remove excess and polish. And due to these properties it needs some colorant, close to the wood color, because it is almost impossible to remove from wood grain that has any indentions/groves, etc. Even on the light Curly Oaks the natural color left in "grooves" showed more than I like as those "groves" are darker than the main wood color. So I got all the colors.Carnauba wax - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That's correct...it does look a lot like ebony in the pictures, but you can still tell the difference. No, it has not been exposed to any direct sunlight except for the first day I had it taking pictures outside. The rest of the time it has been either in my office no direct sunlight or in my hand or pocket. And as you can see...I'm as pale as they come....so no direct sunlight there either. No protectant, UV or otherwise. I have left all my wood mods in the same condition they arrived. More or less to see how normal use would impact them.

Good Afternoon all, been a rough couple of days here, temps in the 90s I feel like my energy was just drained! Off today and it is rain so hopefully it will stay cool! I hope everyone has a great Sunday. I plan on trying to catch up here and do a little house work!

In the summer time I'd do the bath outside but winter is just a bit brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Good Day Fine REO Folk. Hope It's a good one.

When I was on road almost every weekend, for years, with smallest dog to wash a Rottie and multiple Mastiffs to wash with only showers, with built in seatting, so too small, and bathtub too tiny for me to soak in and it was too cold/windy to use even hot spigot, from on-demand water heater (have to have "endless" for multiple GIANTS) I used waterless cleaner and loads of terry to remove dirt/oils. Works great. I buy it by the gallonS (and from Amazon now days). After I built the greenhouse with heat and endless hot water washing became much simpler but now days Bubs rarely get baths. They "bathe" themselves much of the year multiple times a day in pool. (Yeah, pump, constsnt filtering, huge filter w weekly backwash, runs 24/7... various cleaners 8-12 hours a day.)

But point is the blue waterless stuff is great in a pinch.

Ratman...........KARMA!!! Congrats!!

What was the recent talk about Jen's Woodvil, please, and pictures?

Who be getting newly aquired Woodvils, please, and stories, please.

DH and I are movied out, I'm more rested, so much needed chores today and finally getting around to crockpotting up a bushel of onions to separate and freeze to finish caramelizing when needed. That means calf liver tonight!!!

Gonna let DH do the grocery shopping alone. Up until past three years he did all grocery and cooking so he'll do great.

Hope people recovering some from terrible weather events. So glad our Racehorse wasn't washed away. Beaming out healing and strength.

Love and hugs, Feisty Alice

Seems a lot of the men are shopping alone today - is there some special class i must attend beforehand or are they just sick to death of 'slow down Trunker - it's not a race' 'i'm just going to look at the underwear - meet you in the food section' 'i spent $500 so we'd save $30' ?

I am too idle as usual and i'll do the reverse and let HRH loose. She has been gracious enough to rasp off the few stray hairs that were planning a comeback on my head! Then i'll start panicking if my car is not back in 30 minutes.

as you know I'm a HUGE Cinnabomb user as well (currently DIYing it thanks to a recipe from Tripp) and have had all the same problems you've had ie burning skin, lips, eyes, and swollen orings! funny thing its all I run in my OG Mini and rarely have oring problem in it but wife uses the same and I had to replace hers once a week for about 4 weeks and now its fine i've also converted Blaze to the oringless bottle setup but you mentioned something in reference to the RM2 and I was wondering what oring you swelled?

Wow, you guys have some interesting conversations! Nothing to contribute to the bald conversation although I do have an awesome 80's punkrock hairdo growing back in for this summer from my brain surgery back in February...it's an interesting conversation piece at work lately.

Just wanted to drop in and say HI! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Going to try to take some Reo family pics later today when Rob gets home from shopping...that's right, I sent him by himself! I actually hate shopping so when he offered to leave me home I graciously accepted!

It's actually a really nice day today, here is a picture of the storm near Tulsa Friday night right before it dropped the tornado. It's an amazing photo really, but this is when you take the camera and run!!

I'm happy to report....since logging on today....I have not been logged off or redirected to the mobile site. *crossing fingers* :D

Good to hear. Wee hours it was constant on notebook. This morning on two different androids so couldn't tell if fixed as they seem to be unaffected.
