About light, any, and woods prone to color change and fabrics...... Years ago I took closet doors off of two 8ft wide closets in room we call office. Those damn fold out doors. Then put desks and office storage shelving in both even though there are already two roll top desks and wood file csbinets and glass front, book cabinets in there. I did have enough room for futon so did sleep in there ocassionally. So...... three years ago decided to make room into office/downstairs bedroom. I got only far enough to take desk conglomeration (for Kapers..... HUGE partical board desk n mess with 2, stacked to ceiling, hutches..... never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) out of one closet and install wire closet insert. Then room became storage when we emptied 30 ft steel shipping container, right outside garage, to remove it.

Getting back to closet. The room is passage way from garage into main part of house so I kept/keep a pretty low wattage CF bulb going 24/7 in closet as room gets little sunlight. So over time the closet became full with rarely used clothes. Many were DH's specific knit work shirts in dark colors. When Sissy Dog (human) was here a few months ago, we removed most things to go to Goodwill. All of his reject dark shirts (a bunch) had significant fading on shoulders constantly exposed to low wattage florescent light.

BTW..... I have beautiful floor to ceiling, "burnt burgandy" drapes (washable and lined) that match our "burnt burgandy" downstairs color scheme, wonderful rods and accessories to fully cover the whole wall, when I finally get the crap out of room and put new bed and night stands in there, that have been waiting over four years for their place.

as you know I'm a HUGE Cinnabomb user as well (currently DIYing it thanks to a recipe from Tripp) and have had all the same problems you've had ie burning skin, lips, eyes, and swollen orings! funny thing its all I run in my OG Mini and rarely have oring problem in it but wife uses the same and I had to replace hers once a week for about 4 weeks and now its fine i've also converted Blaze to the oringless bottle setup but you mentioned something in reference to the RM2 and I was wondering what oring you swelled?

A ways back Rob got sick of my juice Oring problem and set me up the ringless bottle cap too but (and this is so pathetic) popping that cap in the bottle was harder with my arthritis that using the regular screw cap. I hate it!! But anything that takes a small, percise touch causes finger trembling cramps which is why I have trouble doing simple coils. :( Tho Im getting better if I stop for a break when I feel it coming on.

Seems a lot of the men are shopping alone today - is there some special class i must attend beforehand or are they just sick to death of 'slow down Trunker - it's not a race' 'i'm just going to look at the underwear - meet you in the food section' 'i spent $500 so we'd save $30' ?

I am too idle as usual and i'll do the reverse and let HRH loose. She has been gracious enough to rasp off the few stray hairs that were planning a comeback on my head! Then i'll start panicking if my car is not back in 30 minutes.

T

Kinda applies....:)

Hey Reo brainiacs...I have a small problem with my woodvil, the one I got a few weeks ago in a trade. I hadn't used it yet cuz I've become terribly spoiled by the RM2 and I only had enough of them for the metals.
So I of course got another RM2 for the wood a couple of days ago and just a while ago I watched the men playing with their woods and balls and made new coil setups for all my Reos, including the wood.
To make a long story short, the RM2 setup wouldn't fire on the wood! It worked fine on the metals, tho. I tested the wood with three other RM2's and they wouldn't work on the wood with or without the oring, tho they're fine on the metals.I put two different 510 atties on it and it fired up just fine...but I dislike atties! And my wood deserves something far more elegant!

So now I have a beautiful wood just sitting there frowning at me cuz he's not being lovingly held in my hot little hands or enjoying the heat I can generate in him with my warm moist mouth...Help me and Elvis please!

I'm SO bad...:D

i wondered where my father was - but i never thought he'd pop up vaping a double barrelled silver bullet with a Newcastle accent! That's Frank's neck of the woods!

I understood every word he said sadly, but i did build a hospital there. I sound more to Americans like this : Free Pie and Chips - YouTube

T

I was going to apologized to you for saying you sound Aussie to me. So I apologize. And you do sound a lot like our favorite little green guy, to this American with no "first language." Your accent is quite charming. I'm sure I told you but to my ear Smurf had less accent than you. Not sure. I did make A's in college in German so I developed a tiny bit of "ear" for West Germanic languages; major one being Dutch; just tiny. And my very good friend in Jungle, who grew up in Germany, during WWII, still has a very heavy German accent and a lisp at that  but mostly when speaking German.

Feisty Alice

My DH has a terrible time understanding any spoken "Queens English" (I'm using this term loosely) so we have to use CC when we watch programs or movies with "British" type accents. It is a pretty interesting different-ability, similar to face-blindness (Prosopagnosia).

slowly into that cavenous mouth! hahaha!

Alice - don't ever apologise to me again! I am often misconstrued as an Aussie and in fact i rather like them. My favourite current line when asked where i'm from is something like "Kentucky" and they know no different!

Smurf has better English than i do because i taught her right proper like!

When i think of all the English accents i can mimic she ought to be very pleased i chose to teach her the proper way rather than my slack, slang and abusive normality.
In return she has been kind and only taught me Dutch swearwords!

Alice, it's a good job you can't here my dialect, I'm very broad Geordie, & some of the time my wife can't understand what I'm saying, & she's from the same region

 I grew up in Kentucky. I've been in Texas since 1971 and those damn Kentucky hillbillies razz me about my Texas accent when I go visit.

Exact same here. Backed off the center post screw and it fired. Something with the connector Rob told me. He said you should not have to unscrew it so much to make it work and I could use it that way OR send the Woodvil to him.....I'm choosing the later. :)

Our dearest friend Sissy Dog, ex-pat Canadian, whose mother was Dutch does a hilarious Dutch accent (and an even better Asian Indian one). One of the few things that gets somber DH giggling.

Jen " Roger" is very handsome. Thanks for posting pics of him for us. I am still trying to learn all the woods. Who adopted him? I am sure you found him a very good home. Maybe that person will give you visitation rights????? LOL
ElectraClyde has him now. I'll wait for another run, there is a special door that Rob held onto from the last run that I am still hoping to get eventually. If Dave doesn't beat me to it. :)

Morning Frank, Zippo is fine.....getting in trouble as all pups do. LOL, gave him a bath....he .....es like hell, then promptly goes outside and plays in the rain as if its like a water park.
 My pups run so fast into the lake that they create a wake, play in the rain and are even fairly good about going to their shower with just voice commands. Last year I thought they would enjoy a little kiddie pool in the yard and they ran from it like it would attack them...same thing with a sprinkler.

Wow, you guys have some interesting conversations! Nothing to contribute to the bald conversation although I do have an awesome 80's punkrock hairdo growing back in for this summer from my brain surgery back in February...it's an interesting conversation piece at work lately.
Shave it all off, Julie! I would have stayed bald after surgery if it wasn't for the ugly lump that is there now (and the stigma of being sick) How have you been?

What was the recent talk about Jen's Woodvil, please, and pictures?
Just the Wood fiends getting restless, reminiscing about the Woods that came and went.

When I moved from East Texas to Central Texas people were constantly asking where I was from, Georgia and Alabama were the top two guesses. I lost a lot of my twang the twelve years I lived there. Been back in the sticks only four years and have already had two Dallas friends remark on the returning country twang.
