its supposed to rain tonight but nothing severe i dont think whats the weather like in paradise ?

Been pretty good here, trade winds are back which keeps the humidity down. Great day to be outside but Zippo doesn't care much for nice sunny weather, prefers for the early morns and late afternoons to go on walks or to play outside. He's a real "house dog" for the most part. Did yer cat display any weird behaviour before the twisters came through? Some think animals got inkling of bad weather and quakes before they happen and react oddly.

BTW, whats on yer menu? I'm defrosting some hamburger meat but no idea what to make

The rude idiots (yes I said idiots) on the AVE forum (mostly all with less than 250 post) act is if they know everything about Ben's business.:glare: Anyway, no one can answer the simple question if the free shipping charges on 100ml bottles have changed? If anyone has the answer here please let me know....thanks. :)

Was Boba's available today? Did the website crash? I was gone all day and unable to even try to get on!

It is a lot cheaper to buy zinc. I found that out when I started using the cold eze lozenges for colds. I just looked at the ingredients and picked up zinc. I order them online and get a good deal. Take them and Vitamin C at the start of any cold or if colds are present in those around me. They cut the duration time down to only a couple of days of symptoms if any. I have been prone to colds and sinus infections. I have not had any since starting the Vitamin C and Zinc about 5 years now.

At the very first sign that a cold may be coming on I take echinacea to help ward it off. Won't help much after you come down with it though. D3 is my daily driver for prevention and notice that my hair and nails are much healthier. I was very susceptible to colds/flus with flu shots which was a requirement in the service, but since retirement I am so much more resilient to them. :)

My sister's cat went bonkers right before the '89 San Francisco quake. It was sitting on the fire escape and started screaming. Jumped in through the window and ran mad circles on the floor, then dove under a claw foot bathtub. She said that once it got under the tub that's when the quake started.

I think your math skills are fading there, K. You can't be a day over 28.

My youngest offspring turned 30 this year. I am old. My oldest will turn 39 this year. I am old. My oldest grand child will turn 17 this year. I am old period!

But thank you for trying! Old ladies tend to appreciate younger men telling them they are not that old. I am old........and beginning to also appreciate all the benefits of old age!

Don't feel alone, sweetie. I turn 60 this year too. :)
It's just about time to set me out on an iceberg.
You, on the other hand, have decades to enjoy.:)

Heard about a geologist who has a theory that before large quakes many pets go missing so yer sis's cat shows that it has abilities that science cannot replicate. He also noted that most quakes center near a full moon (btw, he predicted that '89 quake). :)

Thank you Rob! Yes, it was almost two years ago! And I found the pic and the comments!

I will forgo the lashing. I have learned to let myself learn from my mistakes without beating myself up. After all I will be turning 60 this year! I am an old lady and messing up comes with the territory!

OMdoG. You are but a child.

I practice "what me worry" to excess. Ask my accountant, tax attorneys, and IRS...... but it doesn't mean I'm not reasonably prepared for emergencies. Yeah, I'm the one out in gale force winds, torrential down pours, digging trenches, and filling sand bags to keep too much water from flooding all of the house and sending helper to store for more submersible pumps..... but s*** always happens all the time. I expect it so few surprises.

Now.... gotta order one of those personal alert thingies for ancient peeps. I've been saying this for months but recent Moe Doodle trying to take out my good knee really drives it home.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
None of my guys have ever acted strange before or after quakes - even with the Loma Prieta quake.

Karen and Roger, you both are still youngins.

Simba generally disappears about 2-3 hours before a quake. Last dog would do the same. Bailey she doesn't care. So long as the cookie feeder is working she's happy
