Just got back from PO. They completely lost the ohms meter I sent to mwdenko EXPRESS MAIL but they wont admit it and they blame me for waiving signature confirmation and not purchasing insurance. I mailed it Friday. Expected delivery, Saturday by 3pm. Even their website shows it was last scanned in lancaster. They wont give me my money back and they wont achkowledge they LOST IT. "Well sir, if you had delivery confirmation, we could check if it was delivered." Even the folks in line behind me were taken back by this lil angry asian woman behind the counter telling me it's all my fault. They said for something to be considered lost, it needs to be missing 30 days.

I'm so sorry sweetie. If it shows the last scan being accepted at the Lancaster P.O. then they should realize it never left! It's hard to argue with them about packages. I know that from experience. It might be "found" and sent out later. Seems silly to insure and get signature confirmation on an item under $100. But it does give a little protection. Hope it shows up and gets on it's way soon.

what a screwy way to do biz :D

you mean opening for 20 minutes day, and getting thousands of dollars of orders that take you the rest of the day to fill and ship?

Terrible! :)

By the way, if you want to laugh, for a few days while reading, if you haven't seen this topic yet, it's pretty good. I thinks it's one of my favorite so far. I can't stop laughing Give it a coupla pages and you'll see.

Well what does one expect from the Government?
If you had paid for all the bells and whistles.. And they still lost it. We would still have to wait 30 days. Then they would probably say. It's day 31. Why didn't you notify us of this earlier? It's too late to do anything about it.

Ugh.

I think they will find it, atually, but I gotta come clean here, I love the USPS. So you hit on my pet peeve. ;)

How many packages and/or letters has USPS lost on you over your lifetime? In ratio to the successful deliveries?

(i made a rough estimate and I think over the course of my lifetime I've received about 86,000 pieces of mail. Probaby 5-10 got lost.)

They processed 160 billion pieces of mail last year.

If a corporation could do it better, and as cheap........

USPS does a stellar job. I'm actually in awe of what they do.............too many people take them for granted and I think we are spoiled and probably need to start paying much higher prices to ship things and let a corporation take over. :)

Amen to that. I'm sorry brother. Not exactly the first impression I wanted to make with you when you joined us in Reoville. I never had anything like this happen before. It took my confidence away in one swoop not to mention it was my only ohms meter.

Here's a :toast: to it arriving to you one day. My guess is it's wedged between a trunk somewhere from here to ohio

Can't believe you only have one of anything RHP! I have 2 meters, a little box thing that only measures atomisers and ofc a doohickey Scott sent me. One meter is at work with an emergency supply of what i need to make coils (just in case) and the better one is here with me.

Now if it were battery chargers - well i have a boatload of those! I think USPS on the whole do a good job, but it's like anything in this world. You get what you pay for, from tools to vaping to cars to lawnmowers!

I started my vaping journey a little over two years ago. Back then the cig look-a-likes were the place for new vapers to start. Blu, KR808, Njoy were where most of us began our experiment to see if this "vaping thing" really would work. Filling cartomizers, stuffing foam into cartos, spinning with Taryn, and quickly finding no end to what we needed to stay with vaping. Always buying more batteries, chargers, cartomizers to fill, juice and a few drip tips.

I started on a KR808 and found the REO after just one month. Now things have really changed. There are so many devices, tanks, rebuild-able attys, wicks and wire. I was totally lost when someone would tell me about what they bought to start vaping. I saw something my son bought just to try it out. It had a tiny tank, and was larger than my first e-cig. I looked online to find something that would let me know what it was called.

Then along came my very special friend Bill and in a phone call we talked about these "other" things that people liked. His daughter uses something like my son had. So, after some conversation where I told him I was thinking of buying one of "those" so I could know first hand how to help someone, he made me an offer.

I got my Ego Firefly on Thursday. I put some juice in it and after awhile trying to figure how to turn the thing on, I had my first vapor. I will get a charger this week. All weekend I enjoyed my new toy. Found that I could vape off a REO for a few minutes then sit and vape the Firefly for a few more. It sure is not a vape like you get from a RBA with a 1.2 coil! But it seems to work fine.

I can see how a newbie could use it to stop smoking. If they have not tried a REO then they just don't realize there is a much better alternative. But for a starter PV it is not bad. I would never leave the house with it and not a REO too! For now it is a toy, fun, and pretty!

Just wanted to "come clean" with the REO family. I know I said I would not buy anything except a REO. Well, I didn't buy it! Thank you Bill! But it does reside in this REO house. It looks up to my REO's, really! It knows it's place!

Love your vaping story karen. I think you would have won the Chalice. Now I'm going to attach it to a pigeon and send it to you. Animals dont need delivery confirmation

ETA: It doesn't matter if a package requires signature confirm, adult signature, sign in blood, or eye retinal scan, the mailman is leaving that box wherever the hell he wants.
