George, we're all so glad to hear from you! And you certainly did a number on yourself! I'm left handed, too, and have broken my wrist and my arm a few times, but not to the extent that you have and I was MUCH younger then but still it was a PITA.

The biggest fastest healing mojo comes your way!

So I'm outside this morning putting the finishing touches to the garage sale about 9:a.m. when people started showing up and it didn't stop till around 4;00 p.m!
The official start is tomorrow! Now it looks like a small garage sale.
But I've already made over $400.00 so it's all good!

And this whole weekend is supposed to be sudden quick thunderstorms and temps. in the high 70's into the 80's.

Good timing on my part!( I'll take the credit even tho I didn't plan it that way:))

hi, i just got home - apologfies for typos and such, I'm tping from a sling.

So i';m walking out of work monday afternoon to go to my car and drive home, and I slipped on a rock on an uphill dirt path that leads up to the parking lot. falling forward, I put my arms out in front of me to catch myself before a faceplant, and ended up dislocating my left shoulder (left-handed, btw), breaking the ball off the humerus and into several pieces, and tore up my rotator cuff. they took care of the dislocation part that afternoon in the emergency room, but I had reconstructive surgery on tuesday for th broken bones and rotator cuff and now have a titanium plate and pins in my shoulder holding it all together. I forgot to ask, but it looks like about 16 stitches on a single incision on the front of my shoulder. Then while I was in recovery they decided to pile a bunch of tests on me and I ended up staying there until about a half hour ago. I'm in a sling for 6 weeks and then a few months of physical therapy to try and regain as much range and strength as I can.

Good to be back! What did i miss?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take care of yourself and listen to your doctor and PT!!

And (((hugs)))

Julie, Rob, Alice and Pietro, I'm sending mojo for a safe uneventful trip, by both plane and car. Cry if you need to...phyttt to the ornery ole mountain man....

He is sorely missed.:(

Believe it or not, I was honored when he harrassed me.

I so miss him.
He made me laugh just about everyday. :)

Wow... That's rough. Good thoughts towards your rehab, and healing thoughts sent for your bum hinge.

But on the bright side, at least your REOs are ambidextrous-enabled. :)

Get some rest.. Heal that hinge.

What a horrific injury Dave!

Having had two rotator cuff repairs I really feel for you. They say that shoulder surgery and after pain is some of the worse pain. I sure believe it.

Until you experience how much moving a finger can hurt your shoulder you just don't understand. My surgeries were not near what you have had done.

I hope you have a good recliner for sleeping! I used my own bed with the head at a 45 degree angle for a few weeks. Much too painful to lay flat then try to get to upright.

Let me know if you want any suggestions for coping with such an injury.

Hang in there, it is going to be a rough ride.

I'm so happy now! It's been a while, but I'm finally a resident of REOville again. My black wrinkle VVG came in today with the RM2.

Built my first ever atomizer. I tried out the microcoil method (thanks Super_X!!!), and it came in at 2.1 ohms. Filled 'er up, and dialed it in. All is well. I really like the revisions Rob has made to the design, like the rounded corners, side button, and the powder coating. And the VV is pretty awesome as well!

Here she is:

Just a quick post to say we made it to Denver. Time to relax and work out the road kinks.

Beat me to it. Was gonna report your safe arrival. Thank doG you made it safe and sound. Still washing clothes and need to pack. So look forward to reunion and huge group hug with Pietro and then brunch.

Love and hugs, Feisty Alice

ugh....It has taken forever for me to catch up again....and I have one day of driving left to do. Tons of stress....lots of things to do...got some big thing in the works and am impatient about getting it done. Freaking out because it could make or break our business and that right there is damn spooky. but we've arrived at a crossroads and we gotta jump on for the ride or start losing clients. I'm losing sleep...but really looking forward to it.

And OMG....DAVE!!! I'm so glad you appear to be in good spirits...I've seen shoulder damage take down such strong men, my husband included. His damage was no where near the extent of yours but it has definitely left an impact. You have my soothing vibes heading your way....sure hope you're getting some rest and can enjoy some pain free moments.

I'm sorry I missed your Birthdays, MW and Gil  I hope you had great days!

I'm sorry I've missed so much. Been catching up with my eyes half closed. I'll be back tomorrow night. Sleep well everyone

Still up. Decided not to go to sleep as have alarm set for 0500, 2 hrs 9 minutes from now. Almost time for coffee. We'll be keeping in touch from Denver. Plan to snooze on airplane. Can't wait for big hugs from Rob, Julie, and Pietro. Still have to pack and do RM2 coils. Master procrastinator R I.

Be well all, Feisty Alice
