DH = dear husband or dumb hubby works well also. I didn't make it up, it seems others before me use it in texts or some such thing. I know that Trunker uses HRH for his lovely wife, but my friend bought my cat a bowl that says that so I use if for my cat since she is such a princess, with no disrespect meant for T's HRH of course. I need to start using DD for dumb dog, since I have one of those too.

Robert Eugene O'Neill lives in Maine, and he is the guy who designed and builds the REO's. His initials are the name of his mod, and he even patented it. Lucky us!

Dinner is not going so well. I failed to plan well. I was going to roast carrots, so went to get the carrots and realized I used half of them drunk cooking with my friend the other night. So not enough. I was going to do potatoes, not enough of them either.

So I am baking apples with cinnamon and brown sugar instead, and going to serve the pork with the apples, quinoa and canned veggies of something green, either beans or peas. Luckily I keep some back up quick stuff like cans for emergencies! And I am sure my brothers will like the apples even better than icky old carrots or potatoes. At least I figured out a way to use the huge bag o' apples DH scored at costco!

Oh yeah, if you drink beer, this is the place to be, for sure!

And so, I was grilling brats last night, as Minnesotans do, and I kept trying to take pictures of my REO with the grill, and my beer, and the garden, and the lilacs... and as it turns out, this is totally normal behavior in Reoville...
