The REO Lounge - Part IV

Thanks for the REOkin good vibes everyone...they moved Grandpa out of ICU this afternoon!
His kidney function and respiration is still poor, and he isn't out of the woods, but hopefully being in a quieter room will let him get some much needed rest. He even fed himself some pudding today. All he ate yesterday was half a sliced banana and a few teaspoons of applesauce. He can't drink real water, they are spooning "thick water" into his mouth. It looked remarkably like VG to me.

Also good news, after finally dragging my reluctant Mom to my neurosurgeon we are on a fast track to treatment. First procedure on July 2nd and the next procedure on July 8th. We are already impressed with the team of folks getting it together, very organized and caring. What a relief after the past few weeks of dealing with incompetence.

Hopefully soon I'll get to post about non-medical related things.

Nothing you've ever hear, I'd wager. Probably not something you'd want to either Pick some stuff off of Joni Mitchell's Blue album. That'll give you the idea.

I should have been in bed trying to sleep. I think it might have started getting the best of me. Called my son to go to supper and I headed over to my Dad's. When I got there I let the 2 little dogs out of the truck and my dad asked where my husband was. Oops. I had forgotten him. But in my defense......his hours have been changing daily and I just forgot. Funny how I never leave the reo behind..........

I have some painting to do to finish one job, then see 4 more customers to see when I can schedule them in, plus trying to finish one phase of my own house remodel. I also need to find the time to mow. We've been getting a good deal of rain lately and I swear I can hear the grass growing! [emoji1]

I'll vape while I work. Right now is my busiest time of the year and I have to take advantage of it now. It slows down a lot at the end of the year and into the new year. I have plenty of relaxation time then! [emoji1]
