well i have to sadly report we found oscar out back dead turns out he was killed by a pit bull thursday morning iam so sad i miss him terribly :(

Sorry to hear about Oscar. I lost my father on Tuesday, so I feel your pain.

Can anyone please point me in the direction of info on the difference between the rm3 single and the rm3 dual? They both look the same on the site. Is there really a difference?

Sterno, sorry to hear about your cat, it can be rough losing a loved pet. Hopefully Oscar knew it was well loved.

SFM, I'm also sorry to hear about your father passing. I hope that he did have a satisfying and full life.

Ok, I'm off to hide in the shadows again for a little bit.

My father died 1 week short of his 84th birthday, and will be buried on his birthday this coming Wednesday. He was a long time smoker (about 70 years or more) and had been a vaper for about 4 months before quitting on my old V2 cigalikes. He was smoke free for about 6 months before his heart problems finally caught up with him.

He will be missed, but it was to be expected with his age and his health failing over the last 10 years, and at least he went fast (as opposed to slowly in the hospital).

Checked back in hoping to hear good news about Oscar only to hear about his passing. Hopefully Oscar and Zippo are able to hookup and are having a blast playing together while exchanging stories about us. I lasted all of 10 days before getting Kellogg, it helped me so much in getting back on my feet again. Take care, good buddy :)

My condolences to you as well, SkinyFatMan on your dad's passing.

Just got caught up on the last couple days postings. Scott, so sorry to hear about Oscar. I have a cat that looks just like him and I truly love him. I know one day you will find one that you can take in and love and will love you in return. It's happened to me more times than I can remember and it's always hard.

SFM, sorry for your loss as well. I pray for peace and comfort for you during this time.

I went to work yesterday too for a little while, while the builders finished off plastering walls. I say 'went to work' rather than worked, because i just spent my time messing about with the machines there and made this for HRH:

smurf 001.jpg

When i got home, HRH went shopping and some :censored: hit the passenger side of my car in the carpark. Not badly enough to make a claim on, but enough to irritate me!

Sorry about Oscar, Scott. I like cats, but when i moved here they had a 'no pets' policy.

I'm jumping off the deep end and selling my last REO.

It's just time for me to try to give it up completely. My journey with the nicotine monkey has gone on long enough. I'll be right back if I can't shake him though!

I'll most likely still roam through the Lounge, but maybe not as much.

Good morning Reoville,

Sorry SFM for your loss. Even though we've not met you and yours are in my heart.

I've got to pick up the boy in a few minutes so I will be on Daddy duty for awhile. Likely won't be able to post much. But, I miss him so much I'll be super glad to have him back.

Everyone enjoy your day, as best you can.

You will be missed but I certainly understand. Got a backup just in case you can't shake that monkey? If you fell back to vaping that'd probably be better than falling back to stinkies. Maybe hold onto that Reo. When I quit smoking back in January I had three packs left. Still have them and haven't touched them. I was ready to give them up. So having them around didn't hurt me, in fact it reinforced what I was trying to do and gave me confidence because if I wanted one it was as near as my jacket pocket. And since I didn't touch them I knew I had them beat. Kind of hard to explain what I'm trying to explain. I wish you well and hope you succeed. But, if you don't, have a backup plan.

Just my personal opinion and you may have different thoughts on this. And it certainly should be easier then getting off the stinkies in the first place!

Also, please do drop by from time to time, if you'd like. Let us know how you're doing! :)
