I wish. I have one REO. It's my only PV. I AM going to get me a mechanical woodvil when they are released. If I found $1000 on the ground, I'd definitely have a few more Grands though.

Not that I know of. I know he's working on a convertible Grand so it can be used with a variable wattage/voltage device or straight up 18650, but if he does a "mini" version of this, it won't be until after he sees how the convertible does.

I've had a similar experience with my provari as well. For some odd reason I can't wrap a micro coil with 30 or 32 gauge wire. Seems the coils once compressed double over. So when measuring on the provari it reads one way and then on my ohm meter another way. Which is really confusing. But, I err on the ohm meter (I have two) so I double check between those.
So I mainly use 26 or 28 now. Much easier for me to work with.
Ah, I hadn't thought about the kanthal's guage being the cause. I should have my ohm reader today so will recheck my coils and see if it's my 28g and 30g reading wrong or one or the other. Having two ohm meters is not a bad idea.
I wish I could help, but I'm still stuck on my RM2. I haven't tried any of the new ones yet. I just did a search in the forum for RM3 and came up with a lot of hits. Ya...I can relate, kind of. I nearly lost it and gave up on vaping entirely back when cartos came out. All the refilling and dripping had me rather high strung. Good thing my husband found Reos...it was then I could finally relax and just vape.
I know! I got in the game back like 7 years ago with the ejoy510s. I had to give it up once the novelty of cartos wore off I got sick of it quick. I got a BDC like 2 years ago and then quit again and now that I got my rebuildables I don't think I'll ever go to cigs again!

Yep...for me, it had to be easier than smoking. I am the...laziest....vaper....ever. 
It's not easier with RBAs but that's a hobby thing I can do at night. My vaping through the day had better be hassle free!

Got my Wood Mini set up tonight with a brass RM2.....I have noticed the atty gets a little warmer than my other RM2's. Is this normal for the brass? I just took it off the mod and double checked...I'm still at 1.7 ohms. It's not hot, just warm and vaping great just want to double check.
