Good afternoon lounge. Been a busy week so I haven't stopped by for a few days :D nothing really big to report other than me and my brother are excited about our trip. We got off work the 26,27,28th to go down to new port Richie Florida and visit our mom and little sister. Still feels weird to say I have a little sister an mom after never being in contact with them my whole life so I'm excited :)

That's great news! I hope you have a good visit....I went and saw my dad after not seeing him for over 14 years and not communicating with him for over 11 years in January....what a trip. I loved being able to see him again. Keep us posted! I'm excited for you!

I always use the Howard's Sunshield on my stabilized REO's. Inside and out. Never any yellowing or loss of color. Be careful using other stuff. There has been a very bad result reported. I am not sure what it was that was used though.

Howard's is safe!

thanks Karen--

im gonna be in cinci this weekend(ElderHS) for kids game. They are ranked #1 in the nation!!!

My vacuum cleaner bit the dust over the weekend. Repair guy confirmed motor is roasted. (8 cats is hard on 'em)

DH came home from work today and said a friend of his at work was getting rid of one because his wife didn't like the weight. (2 story house) "See if I want it he says." He went out to the truck and carried in the Reo equivalent of a vacuum. A Kirby.

So much for the new Reo fund jar...

Just had a wonderful day. Slept like my mama had tucked me in. So rare when that happens.

My Mom had one for 50 years then gave it to one of my nieces a few years back. That one is still going strong only time it has been in the shop is for a new power cord :).
