Sorry I’m late, Merry Christmas!
You're never too late to say “hey” in Reoville!

Happy almost 2020 all! Can’t say that I will be sad to see 2019 go. Of course, there were some sweet moments and days but with the flood, fires and numerous planned electrical outages, I welcome 2020 and look forward to some “un-eventful” times indeed.

How is everyone hanging in there in your neck of the woods?

We're gearing up for an ice storm, due to start in a couple of hours. They're predicting a half inch of ice. So, where'd I put those ice skates again??

I agree with you: sayonara, 2019. Hope the new decade brings good tidings for all of us.

My search skills on this forum are awful! I just have a question, where are you all getting parts and stuff to fix the REO’s, like the firing pins and such? I have a few things for my REO’s, but the hubby doesn’t have a “stash” for his P67 of parts, and I didn’t grab a bunch of stuff before the website closed.
Any info, as in where to go to purchase stuff, would be greatly appreciated
Happy New Year!!

Great question that I don't have the answer to. Perhaps email Eric?

Maybe someone else in the know will chime in.

I'm in the same boat. I fooled around and didn't order parts in the final days. I have 2 REO Grands and while I was giving one a bath, I lost the tiny center pin adustment doo-hicky down the drain.....OOPS! Hopefully I can swap parts back and forth between the 2 and keep going indefinitely. I snoozed, I losed.:(

It's probably still in the sink P-trap.
Easy to take apart and retrieve it...:thumb:

I feel your pain! His issue on his P67 is he has broke 2 firing pins, only had 1 here, so this time around he “modified” one of my spare firing pins, but thats MY STASH for my REO’s

I was about to respond by referring to him as a parasitic scavenger but then it occurred to me that I probably would have done the same thing. But then it further occurred to that because I'm willing to condone his actions doesn't mean he's not actually a parasitic scavenger--it just means that I'm apparently more than capable of sinking to his level of depravity under the same circumstances. I guess you just never know what needs to placed in the prenuptial agreements.:)

While Cheryl's husband is an actual parasitic scavenger and you, Bush, have parasitic scavenging in your heart of darkness when I do that kind of thing, I consider myself to be a creative re-purposer.

On another note, when is this forum due to end and is another thread started somewhere that I can't find?

I can't "like" or "love" anything about a possible ice storm. I hope you have a generator.

Yes we do, but to my amazement we didn't lose power. I'm shocked. It was awful. A half inch of ice on everything. Spent 7 hours shoveling sand on the roads, kept hearing giant limbs break and fall in the woods - was just waiting for power lines to come down. Very thankful it didn't happen.

I think the forum stays open until the end of the year which is...today,

So it's like.....open season? Kinda like "Groundhog Day" when everything you do is immaterial because it won't matter tomorrow but then there is no tomorrow, so it really doesn't matter.............
