I have had Rob's rba for three days (yeah I know another Teachers Pet) and I would like to pass on my observations. I do not have a Chalice or an ERA to compare it to. I have had limited use with a Phoenix and an A7 so I can only give limited comparison. Im am also a 66 year old guy with not the best eyesight and shaky hands so building and installing a coil is a challenge for me. I have been using a 4/5 wrap of 32ga wire over a 2.5mm silica wick that has been working out to 1.7 ohms. In actuality building the coil has become easier but installing it is a chore. The screw heads on the REOMIZER are really tiny so you need either a jewelers or an eyeglass Philips screwdriver with a tiny head. The rest of the platform is fine to work with. I know that all of the talented people on this forum who have more experience with rebuildables will not have a problem.

With that said I have been vaping the 1.7 ohm coil at 4 volts on my VVGrand and this hits like a Bazooka. The vapor, throat hit and flavor are better for me than anything else I have used in my three years of vaping. The draw for me is similar to a new Carto, a little airy but perfect for me.

I think Rob has hit another home run with this device.

 I'm a girl...and I got mine late yesterday. I was taking pictures of it when I got called away to assist some friends moving to AZ. But on the bright side....it's been working really well for me all day. I'll get up and deal with my camera in a little bit.

Nice perspective, Ray. :) I'll be paying attention to that over the next few days.

This almost makes me wish I would have chosen the VV over the Grand. Would any of you have reservations using an RBA on a Grand? I know.... the spring IS the circuit protection, but the VV has integrated short circuit protection

That is one of the main reasons that Rob put this RBA together. So many people melting springs with other RBA's on the 3.7v Reo's. So he built this one to be more compatible with the Grand with out melting the spring.
