You were right I dont no what I was thinking . the top plate on the atty is the positive so the post with the gasket is the negative . It sounds to me like the short is coming from the negative post . If its lose I would snug it down and test it with your ohm meter .I try to never grab the atomizer by the posts but by the base if possibleOops....I mean the positive post! I'll mess with it if you'll tell me what to do.
After attempting your free hand coil wrap method, I am now positive you have magic in those hands!
You get use to it I use to do it with a small piece of copper wire but I realized it didn't need it and have done them free hand ever sinceOops....I mean the positive post! I'll mess with it if you'll tell me what to do.

The o-ring in the catch cup?Anyone having trouble with the o-ring not sealing the cup?
That & the small 32 ga. wire have given my 63 year old eyes a little trouble.
Am now using 28 or 30 ga. wire & it works fine on my grand.
I snugged it down, built another coil, zero ohms. Noticed a tiny bulge in the gasket that sits close to the threads. When I tried to attach the cap, the tiny bulge got caught and broke. Sending it to the ICU...was shipping you a package today anyway. You were right I dont no what I was thinking . the top plate on the atty is the positive so the post with the gasket is the negative . For those who don't have the larger REOs just wait a little bit and there will be more reasonably priced RBAs coming out that will fit the Mini REOs. In addition Robert is having some new Mini 2.0 milled that have catchcups larger than original to accommodate some of the current RBAs including the REOmizer.

I will find the culpritThe o-ring in the catch cup?
No problems with that here. What's happening?

I always grab it by the base.
Hello Louis this happens to me a couple times a week . I think were just giving the atomizer a little to much juice it only takes a couple drops to fill whats left of the juice well . I remove my atomizer clean the bottom with a paper towel and I soak up the juice in the well . Install the rba and I can go days without it a curing again so I no its meAnyone having trouble with the o-ring not sealing the cup?

No condom in my desk at work sadly, in a pinch...the sticky portion of a post it note works great!
Genius! Thank you so much. I was just scrabbling around my desk looking for something similar. Never even occurred to me to hatchet up a condom.
Then again, as a single 41 year old dude: it should NEVER occur to me to hatchet up a condom.
Sorry: couldn't resist.
