I have been away for a while (again). The last several months have been quite challenging but hopefully, I will get back here more often.
Everyone who knows me knows that I took care of my father. He passed away last month. It is not really a sad time because he is no longer suffering and I no longer have the weight of the world on my shoulders.
They were there for me when I took my first breath and I cannot tell you how blessed I am to have been there when both my parent took their last breath. It was such a comfort for me to know that they passed peacefully.

YAY! It's the weekend again. It is supposed to get up to 70 today and boy is it going to be gorgeous. It's been great all week. A friend came over and he trimmed my bushes for me that needed it real bad. No telling what they would have looked like if he had let me borrow his hedge clippers. heehee

Hello all! On this side of the country we are seeing cooler temps and feeling giddy about it. Feeling lucky that we have so far avoided fires in our neck of the woods AND fall colors are gorgeous. (The combination hasn’t been usual for last few years).

Hi, everyone. Been awhile since I've been around. Staying super busy, getting close to retirement in a few months. Although with inflation what it is, I'll keep working for as long as I can along with Social Security and Railroad retirement just to make ends meet. Trying to finish remodelling the house. Be so glad to finish everything if I ever can. I don't think there will ever be a time where I don't have anything to do. Hope all you folks are doing well. Don't know how many of the original Reonauts are still around. You all take care.
Yes, it has and it is so nice to hear from you. I know what you mean about never being a time when there is not something to do. It used to bother me more. It seems the older I get the more procrastinating I do. That's okay. I think everyone should have a hobby.

Just wanted to drop in and say hello. We have gone from the 80s to the 30s and whereas I like the cooler weather but my joints are protesting the change.
This is the first year that I will not be walking in the freezing weather. I joined a small recreation center yesterday that has a nice little workout room with several machines. If they are busy, they let you walk around the perimeter of the basketball court. At least I checked one thing off my "things I want to do" list. There sure are a lot more on it though. heehee

Retirement is great. Nothing happens. The most exciting thing I've had happen recently is a tumbling composter.
