Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was sick with a bad cold and missed it but was brought a beautiful plate full.

It has gotten cold (I guess it's time). Hope everyone is staying toasty.
Hoping you are feeling much better. No fair having a cold on Thanksgiving….or any fun day for that matter. We dove right into winter here in Northern California and getting lots of wonderful rain. One down pour was a bit much (14 inches in 72 hrs) but still better than a drought.

I'm 46 and paralyzed from the waist down 'cuz I'm due for a right hip replacement surgery.

The last time I was on ECF, I could walk. So yeah, a lot has transpired since I was speaking to you little people who live inside my smartphone.

Wow! When is your hip replacement? Soon I hope….

I hope so, too. Since I'm bedridden, transportation is a hurdle since medical transports are not cheap around here. It ran me $700 just to get to my doctor appointment this month.

Sometimes you can get on a cancellation list and get procedures done sooner. Nagging can be helpful. Lol

RHP, so sorry. May I ask how a needed hip replacement caused paralysis? My sister is doctor shopping now to determine anterior or posterior replacement. Which way are you going and why? Best of luck to be on your feet again soon.

I'm just checking in to Reoville. I still have 2 or 3 old beauties that I have not cracked out in eons. I am vaping Juuls and a voopoo mod and tank as of late. Also buying $25 Geek Bars just like the kids. I love the flavors. I hope the Chinese aren't poisoning me.

Anyway, nice to see everybody. I sure do miss the days when our beloved REOs were all the rage. Maybe they still are. We would wait for the sale release date then refresh the page until the release and buy a few.

They were works of art. Cucoburro, Maple, brushed metals on and on. Bests to everyone!!!

I so enjoyed Christmas when my kiddos were little.

Hugs and ho-ho's to everyone.

Good to see you @WharfRat1976 and glad you checked in. Every so often one of us has a Reo question. Our numbers have dwindled but the help is always here when we need it. Luckily, our little Reo beasts just keep on truckin’! They are tough little beauties indeed.

By being so inactive physically my lower spine is fused to my hip. I also was diagnosed with scoliosis. I was diagnosed in 2006 along with a big bottle of painkillers, because the medic said there's nothing I can do except exercise so that in ten years I will require a hip replacement I will recover faster. Yeah right!

Then I met a woman from my high school love at first sight. We hooked up immediately until our 14th year anniversary she left me. Her final words to me were, "I love you but I'm not in love with you." Shortly afterwards I quit drugs for good. Been clean since Dec 14, 2022.

Basically she was fed up waiting for me to get my act together and had an emotional affair with someone from Facebook. Then hide it from me until I wasn't able to walk again.

I never really bounced back from losing her. She cheated on me and never told me. So I'll never have clarity or closure.

Some people will never reach out and speak to you again because they don't have the maturity to cope with the fact that they did you wrong and you didn't deserve it.

Since they lack the accountability they will create a made up narrative about you so they don't feel bad about themselves.

Edit: I learned a valuable lesson the hard way which is to never make someone a priority when they treat you as an option.

Howdy folks, RedhatPat here from Amish country wishing Merry Christmas to all my fellow REOvillians both new and veterans alike.

May all whom are reading this please have a safe, healthy, and happy holiday. I can't wait to put 2024 behind me so let's see how 2025 treats us. Take it easy my friends and if it's easy then take it twice.

Google Photos sent me selfie I took throughout my life 2 years ago. The road is rough but the rewards are great.

Crazy weather indeed. We had a great start with rain and then a completely dry January. Keeping our fingers crossed that L.A. County gets a bit of rain soon! Up here in Northern California, we know what it’s like to have fires.

Keeping you and your surgery in our thoughts. Keep us posted.

I survived! heehee Actually, I am doing great. I had the meniscus fixed on Tuesday and have not had any problems whatsoever. I have taken the anti-inflammatories they gave me but I have not had to use the pain meds or what they gave me for nauseousness.

A friend loaned me a Breg ice machine and I think that made all the difference in the world. I have always used ice packs but this stays cold for eleven hours without having to do anything.

If I am not mistaken (I very well could be) but I think it is Rob's birthday today. I wonder what he is doing now? Anyone know? Well, anyway, a big happy birthday to the man who gave us the reo.
What a gift Rob was and continues to be! Cheers to Rob’s BD!
