Hope your healing up. How are you feeling?
The knee is still doing great. I cannot believe how easy that procedure was for me. I think I was lucky. It seems to pop a lot but I read where that was normal for a while.

I am finally a Medicare participant. YAY! I have been waiting on this for years. Next month I have an appointment to see about getting cataracts taken care of. Not sure what else is going to go wrong but, I'll handle it.

I sure hope that rodent was wrong about the weather. We have been having beautiful weather this week. Even took a motorcycle ride one day. This could just be a little tease but I hope not. I am so ready for Spring.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and a happy weekend.

So grateful your knee is healing so quickly! Yep, we are getting some teasing about Spring…and then Winter returns. Lol. One day at a time.

Have a great weekend all.

Oh, what a beautiful day we are having. It is nice to be feeling the warm sun. Of course, it won't be long until I am talking about how hot it is.

We used to have 4 seasons here but not anymore. It is either cold or hot. Not much in between.

My friend made some venison vegetable soup last night and boy was it good. I think he is going to can the rest tonight. I cannot believe how well I like deer meat. Perry just bought a whole side of beef and I would rather it had been more venison. Oh well, I am going to be eating well. He used to do the carnivore diet. He wants to do that again but I am not too sure I can give up my salads and beans.

Hope everyone is enjoying the day!

Hello all. It was a long day. I cannot believe it has been 21 years since my mom died. I always get a bit sad and try to find something that occupies my mind. I trimmed all of Perry's bushes around the house and drug all the sticks and droppings to the road which is a good little piece. It looks really good. I trimmed one of his bushes and it had blackberry vines in it. I don't think he wanted those cut but he said it was okay and they would come back thicker next year.

Fixed a good supper too. And now I am laying in bed with a heating/vibrating pad on my lower back. Soon I will change it to my knee. I think maybe I worked a bit too hard today. I hope I will sleep good. I think I will.

I wanted to laugh so I started watching The Big Bang Theory from the start. It is funny but I think I will start Two and Half Men. I loved that show.

Hope everyone has a great night. Happy Friday eve.

Sure is quiet around here.

Hope everyone is busy enjoying their summer. I have completed both my cataract surgeries and am doing great. I wish I could have had it done years ago. I had no idea I was seeing things so dull.

Enjoy your peaceful Sunday.
Hey there @Rat2chat2 and the rest of you Reonauts! Sorry, I have been a bit quiet too. I am still amazed at how long these Reos last and part of that is due to the wisdom in this Lounge. So I am gonna pay more attention. (Not that I have many answers but I do love all the helpfulness that is part of our club.).

Hope you all have a sweet weekend.

Yeah my only P67 is giving me fits lately.. been trying to use it more as I have more positive pins for it over the grands.

A while back it shorted and freaked me out as my battery was red hot! Literally was red and I caught it in time.

The little screw threads sticking out at the top next to the positive connection of the battery was making contact on the outer edge of the battery!

So i filed down that small screw so the threads dont stick out and touch anything.

Then shortly later I wasn't getting power abd tore it all apart.. didnt see anything. And worked again for a few hours.. then nothing again!

Tear it apart and clean everything and see nothing wrong.. ?? Think my little 16 wasn't making a good connection with the center pin on the 510. Haha.. anyways, its working again.

Magnets are the short coming of the reos.. :/ wish I never sold 4-6 of them long sgo from the stock pile!

Yesterday i got to remove the door on a newer Grand mod (3 mobths of use maybe) and I watch the magnet just fall off the mod! Lucky I caught it!

I go threw the usual process of reinstalling it.. marking thr right side to glue down.. and I failed!!! Haha.. glued it in backwards! Haha.. unreal!

I had 1 magnet left and I judt installed it onto a newer green door that lost both!

Lucky enough, the 1 magnet on the green door is on the opposite side of the revered magnet on the grand! Haha.. so I guess that's now the door I'll be always using on the now "black" super vein Reo Grand.

Could try soaking the magnet with nail polish remover.. but that never worked good for me in the past. Always have to drill them out to remove. :/

Down to 3 new Grands ( SL Gold Vein, SL Copper Vein and a SL Raw) and a like new SL Red grand. I've got plenty of others but the magnets eventually get all chipped up on the mods and doors.. its nasty. Guessing holes weren't cut flush so the magnets are exposed to wear. :/

Need to find magnets! Anyone ever sorce the right ones??

Edit: Reo P67 went down again shortly after this post.

It's the contacts! Pits from arking.. per usual. What i hate about the P67 is its 2 pieces one needs to swap out instead of one positive contact like the grand model.

Also I stripped the screw hole threads for the positive contact.. glad I remembered Robs tip of using a metal punch near the screw hole on the reo grand to shrink the threads so the stripped threads would shrink enough to bite the screw. Worked on the brass threads as well on the P67! ;)
