No, they better not have screwed me or I swear to god I'll.............................do nothing lol. I ordered 4 choco LG's a week ago from wakeandvape before I even thought about buying a reuleaux. If you buy 4 or more HG2's they're $6.50 a piece. I'm confident vapenw will honor their offer of 3 free batts.
They will be but if anything it would be a change in batteries. I believe due to the amount of orders that that came in. That if they do they will switch to the 25R5s but for the life of me cannot find were I read it.

HE4 to 25R5

Right behind you...
Question to anybody:

Will the Reuleaux function with two or even one battery?

No. Series, remember? All the batteries are needed to make a circuit. I suppose you could rewire it to use just two, which is the minimum a DNA200 can run on. Or use a conductive plug in one of the battery slots to act as a jumper.

Just to clarify it more, think of series batteries as "stacked" (which they are, essentially). Would a two or three cell flashlight work with just one battery rattling around in there? Pretty obvious why it won't work, isn't it? Same applies to a series mod.

I was on AAEC today checking out Robby's pics. Got a little nervous then I saw that burnt plastic furrow they put in the sled until I saw his follow-up pics the next day. Breathed a sigh of relief when I saw his report that the wire was not melted and saw how much better the sled looked under proper lighting.
There is better info in the Evolv thread I linked to from that thread, it is a little under spec with the wiring, but not dangerous, his wiring diagram has the balance wires transposed and misses the GND & 3 balance links. It uses a common ground and takes balance connections GND & 3 from the battery pads at the board, there is no battery negative wire needed.

They pretty decent albeit more like the 25R5s. Would much rather have the poop colored batteries but hey their free right? I also snagged 3 more 25R5s for $4.50 a pop free shipping. Only to find out they had HG2s up for 5.50 a few days later, which sold out fast (code3vapor). Plus every once in awhile reddit churns up useful information especially when VapeNW.com was hugged to death during the sales.

I spoke to an employee at vapeNW over the tele when I was ordering my Reuleaux bc my Windows computer was giving me fits with their website. Heard him take a long drag off his mod while punching in my info. I got my shipping label printed, it's in the USPS database, and I assume it will go out today. All online vape shops will be swamped this weekend (not to mention USPS & other carriers), so things may take a little longer to get to everyone.

I honestly don't care which batteries are coming with it bc as long as they're 20a CDR, which anything lower would be so irresponsible to send with a DNA 200 chip, I'm good with them. I've gone through VTC4's, VTC5's, 25r2's(blue), 25r5's(green), yellow LG's, poop chocolate LG's, red LG's...and even the super cool purple 35a 2500mAh Efest's (b-stock LG's if I'm right), and some imren's when I was a noob to batteries and vaping. You know what I found out? For the majority, they're all the same.
The only ones I'd put in a higher category (excluding Efest/imren) are the VTC's & Poop LG's. VTC4's are great because well, I see a noticeable difference in single battery mechs. On .25Ω+\- .09Ω builds, they outshine the 20a CDR batteries. Only drawback with the vtc4's are that they drain quicker, and will last me about 2 hours compared to 2&1/2 hours to drain to 3.7v. But they charge up much quicker as well.

So as long as they're LG/Samsung, & 20a CDR I'll be fine. Why? Because they're free.
That and I ordered 2 sets of 3 new VTC4's & a set of 3 Orbtronic SX30's.

Edit: enough battery talk right now, I WANT TO SEE SOME PICS! To all the lucky people that have yours already, let's see it!

I'll be new to the DNA 200 as well, but I don't think you'll have to go into escribe for putting in 30a CDR batteries.
Good to know. Mine is supposed to be here this afternoon. I will be grabbing it out of the box and heading to work. So I won't have access to a PC until I get home.

Pics! I wanna start seeing pictures, I mean this is turning into a battery thread. I threw up pics & vids where ever I could find them when I started this thread so it'd be nice to see some of your set ups!

I think what he's referring to is unless the mods has already been configured, it probably has Lipo discharge curve preloaded. I don't believe you have to change it for it to work. I think the only thing that would be affected is the battery meter. I don't have this mod, but I seem to remember reading something to that effect.

Logically that makes sense to me. I'd assume that they'd be smart enough to configure it for an 18650 set up so its ready to go out of the box but you never know.

It's not, and they really can't, since there's no way for Wismec to know what batteries you're using. 1800mAh? 2100? 2500? 2600? 3000?

Just need to adjust the WH to set the battery meter when you get a chance. Otherwise, should work fine just putting in the batteries and using it. When you really have time, run the battery analysis for more accurate results. Will really like the battery life on this mod especially if you have used one of the lipo models!
