I had already downloaded the DNA200 PDF Manual and the EScribe software, have it stored on both my hard drive and Google Drive.
I am going through the online tutorial as per your recommendation. About 1/3 to 1/2 through it at the moment.

I am currently using LG HE4 batteries for my smok X Cube II and my SMY 170W TC (soon to arrive). I may sell one of these when I get the Reuleaux.
I have read reviews about the LG HG2 batteries and how well they're performing so I'll probably get a trio to begin with, then later get another trio.
How well does the USB charging feature work with Evolv DNA200? I have a very solid performing EVOCEL Dual 2.1 amp USB charger (that's dual 2.1 amp outputs).
I use it to charge my LG G3 phone and other items including running an XTAR VC2 battery charger. I may get another VC2 charger when I get a second trio of the LG HG2 batteries.

The USB charging on my DNA200 mods works great. The board charges at 1 amp, providing you use a wall wart that supplies 1 amp. Mine are all lipo packs and come out with each cell at 4.2v. Very happy with the onboard charging.

All that being said, I use my Xtar VC4 to charge my 18650s unless they are in a mod requiring tools to get the batteries out lol. I think it's perfectly safe either way, but your charger will be faster imo. I'd probably just buy 6 batteries (finances permitting) and switch out fresh batteries for the depleted ones and then use my charger. Hope that helps.

it fits PERFECT to the hand. it feels much better than any dual 18650 mod. it feels better than a SX mini. it just falls in the hand perfectly.

it IS kinda heavy but honestly it seems as heavy as the X-cube II.

shoved some 25rs in there since I didn't expect to get it so fast. going to get some HG2s.

currently running battery analyzer for kicks.

Just got mine in a hour ago from clearmistvape and I love the device. It is smaller than I thought and is extremely comfortable. And I'll say the reverse battery protection works . I've put battery's in devices about 200 or 300 times and never put them in incorrect and of course I do that to this lol. I thought I got a lemon but no i just had a brain fart. It's getting hooked up to escribe now to change battery meter and put all my custom profiles on. Very happy so far

As for the device itself, the big online retailers are expecting shipment as high as several hundred (each) in the next week to ten days, so it should be fairly available around the Black Friday time-frame.
