Just a quick question for those who are using the kick with their Roller, it looks like the kick can stay in the roller and be adjusted by removing the top cap, while you change the battery from the bottom end? Is this correct? If the kick will stay in the mod for battery changes and power adjustments, it makes this nice looking device even better.

Yes you can change the battery from the bottom end , kick should have no problem staying put.

The L ones are on the way, aren't they? You could just wrap the connector with a cloth / towel and use pliers to take it off, so that you don't damage its threads.

When the L-sized ones arrive, just use these with the DID :)

Please let me know if you succeeded.

I just received my Roller and I have the same issue with the recessed connector getting stuck with my DID, mini DID, and AC9. moreover, i can't seem to get a connection with any of the aforementioned RBAs. I screw them on to the Roller and this is how far they will go in before I meet the initial point of resistance...

The AC9:

The DID

I'm afraid of screwing it in further (if it even screws in beyond the initial point of resistance) as the RBA would definitely become married to the connector which would make it difficult to remove. Is this "L-sized" connector that is mentioned above supposed to remedy this issue? May I please get some more info on this? This Roller is certainly a kick ... work of art and it would be great to have it working on my rebuildables!!!

so I finally tried to do my update last night. I had a whole host of problems. I am not complaining, but just listing for the atmizoo peeps and others so you know what you might be in for.

First, I had a heck of a time getting the brass insert removed. Scratched my device trying to un-do it. It was in there really tightly. Then I could not get the delrin out either. It was so stuck that I thought I was making a mistake removing it. When I went to put the new internal switch in, it would not fit either. I had to take the delrin that I had taken out, put it on top and press as hard as possible to get the new internals to seat properly.

lastly, my new flush connector refuses to stay in and when I unscrew any device, it comes out as well. Mine still seems to fire intermittently as well.

ok. thats it for now. I am sure based on the excellent customer service that I and others have received, that all will be worked out. Just some little bumps in the road.

I had the same problem with the flush connector coming out use a coin to screw it in and and with the fire problem i open the center pin so it makes better contact. No more firing problems for me.

Finally received the Roller I ordered on 11/26, but it was missing the battery spring and washer.

Contacted Atmizoo about the missing parts, and requested the larger brass 510 connectors as well. I want to get this thing up and running!

I lost a spring yesterday when changing out an 18350. Seems I was unscrewing the switch and not the bottom battery cap. It's about 6 turns instead of 50 . Boing.... It was gone.

Thanks for the headsups, OB & others, to possible problems, and a huge thanks to the problem solvers here and at Atmizoo both.

Mine is still in Greece or somewhere. It hasn't been updated. Nov 20th was a long time forever ago, surely it will be here soon. I know that most packages appear long before tracking catches up, and I hope this is the case for me. Yet, I pout.

if i purchase one at my local vape shop VAPE REVOLUTION should I expect to have problems with the connector?

i haven't been keeping up on the roller and how many parts have been upgraded/fixed due to issues.

thanks

The folks at Vape Rev should be able to let you play around with it. Grab an RBA if you have one and bring it to the store and check if the connector fits.

Man, that store has everything it seems!

what's the issue that doesn't allow some rba to fit.. is it the threading or the depth of the connector?

it's the threading... screwed on the DID and the AC9 and i get almost two full turns before i can't go any further. check post #153 of this thread. i hooked on a HH357 on the same connector and it screws down fine so i'm guessing your regular 510 cartos will be fine. for some reason RBAs that i have don't play nice with the connector.

full disclosure: i ordered my roller on black friday. the atmizoo peeps said they had a new recessed connector that they implemented that will work fine with RBAs on orders made on or after 11/30 (see subsequent posts after #153). so maybe you can ask VRev when they ordered their batch hehe...

Morning all. Those who know me, know that I own almost every device under the sun. Other than I haven't gotten around to emailing Manos regarding a new connector for the DID......

...I can not emphasize enough how much I LOVE THE ROLLER!!! :) It is one of my favorite devices. I absolutely love the new switch.
