I just wanna know when they're being dropped off at the PO for real. The first 26. Hopefully tomorrow before last pick up?

I don't know how much clearer David can make the construction and placement of "engravings" on the Shockwave.

1)Top cap inside the edge above the threads and below the delrin, presumably, and visible only when removing the top cap assembly for battery change/cleaning.

2)Inside the tube body just above the bottom "T" master on/off switch (presumably never to be seen by the end user after David's assembly).

3)The outside bottom of the "T" master on/off switch and thus the bottom of the mod when stood on its end. The latter being the only one visible when the unit is assembled.

That's my understanding...hope that helps (and hope my understanding is correct). I know this isn't great news if you wanted to switch parts and make ad-hoc two-tone mods.

Thanks, Siouxsie. Yes, David was reasonably clear, but I wasn't aware that he had added additional engraving sites. My initial understanding was that there would only be one engraving. Somewhere along the way, I missed news of the changes.

:)Susan
yeah he just recently mentioned them, and also in the number swapping thread so people would know that they couldn't just switch out the on/off switch and then have their desired numbers.

Good luck, but since we have waited 9months to be where we are today I doubt anybody is going to cancel their order. However, you never know what happens once we hold them in our hands (I just hope it won't be too big for me, but even if it was, I doubt I would sell it after all this up and down, number changing etc.
You never know though, maybe some ppl who bought two, good luck.

It surely is going to be bigger and heavier than you're used to. It's also going to be 100% awesomer and more reliable than you're used to. You will get used to it.
I wanna see the onstage video.

I expect to start shipping again later today or tomorrow at the latest. We finished up remachining the caps, have repolished most of them already and i'll start assembling today again!

This estimation is still current and we shipped 7 this morning. Assembling more now and i should be able to get another 10+ done and shipped in the afternoon drop. I'll keep assembling and shipping until they are all done. All parts are here, all the remachining is done and its just a matter of assembly. I'm getting faster at it.

I'm very excited Snork. The Shockwave will make his on stage debut in June. That will be one crazy show. Adler ( the drummer who was to "high" for Gun's N Roses is gonna play (loved him on Celebrity Rehab). It will be quite chaotic ;)

Its big, its a 26650 mod. It is also relatively heavy as a 26650 battery itself weighs more then many mods do, coupled with an all stainless steel body.

That being said, its still lighter then some 18650 mods, especially hybrid mods or some telescoping mods. I believe its also lighter then some aluminum 26650 mods which is quite an accomplishment.

Weight without battery is only 5 ounces :)

Or is it only 4.8 ounces?

I guess, looking on the bright side of it, we saved another .2 ounces of weight!
