Looking at it last night it seemrd that what you said David would be the only solution, however, I just wnted to make sure before I press anything in. Thus far I had it in the position you said, found the right ridge, turned it once then put the battery in and nothing. I'm taking a break for a bit. Yes Blue I would have thought it had a stop like the Caravela. Are the P plus locks build the same?
The ridges seem pretty rough; would olive oil, vaseline, or nolox help or should I just keep trying. One last question David, if it is in the right position plus one turn clockwise would I still be able to push the bottom out with my finger going through the tube?

It will take a couple of complete turns when reinserting until it is back flush with the bottom and then just turn a 1/4 turn at a time (it clicks every 1/4 turn) until it turns on the firing button. Then you can back it off 1/4 or 1/2 of a turn to turn it off.
This is not a lock, it is a master on/off switch that completely disconnects the battery power. It is not a "locking" button like a carevella or any other mod, including the PrecisePlus. Those mods just have a mechanical stop that keeps one from depressing the on/off button.
The ridges in there are purpose machined in there for the racheting action, they should not be lubed or sanded or altered in anyway.
I will get a video up as soon as possible to help assist you and others on bottom switch removal and reinsertion.

I would not be inquiring except for the fact that I received an my shipping notice friday saying it was shipping, but according to stamps.com and usps you never put it in the mailbox. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't lost in the shuffle. After a ten month wait it would be heartbreaking to have it lost.

The only reason I asked is because I have a couple of the Palight 26650's and I tried one earlier and it didn't seem to fit with ease. I mean I could've jammed it in there but decided against it. It acted like the OD was just a little too big. Anywho, thanks again.

GOT IT !!!!! Finally. It is rather easy if you have small fingers and a steady hand. Works like a charm. Well, I can now proudly say that I, the girl that has never even tried to make a coil, am the first Shockwave owner to have "assembled" a Shockwave button master on/off switch

That would be heartbreaking indeed if one got lost being there are so few of them. Through serial number 50 has shipped. I would guess yours went out yesterday or today (tuesday or wednesday) since the tracking hasn't updated, though sometimes i have seen the tracking not update until it is delivered, so that may be the case too. I'll check on your order for you first thing in the morning when i get into work to double check for you.

I had a couple of HH357 attys that got lost in the mail......
I filed a claim and the USPS reported them as officially lost...Avid Vapor replaced them...
Needless to say the missing ones showed up about 3 1/2 weeks later....
Of course there would be no replacing a lost Shockwave

Thanks Cookie, vaped 46 all night. Even with the stuff I use right now (clearomizer and 50/50 pg/vg) I get much more vapor and a harder hit. Don't quite understand why since the SW is still a 3.7 device. Anyhow, in about half an hour I will take the Shockwave on my daily errands. That will be the final test, seeing if I can drive and vape the SW comfortably. It is much more than expected
Last night I drove for an hour and a half with the ShockWave in my hand. That had been a little concern of mine too, but it was no problem for me. By now I'm entirely used to its weight because I've had this week off from work and I sent a bunch of my P+ topcaps in for adjustment so it's all I've used the whole week. I've changed the battery at the end of every night - but that's just because. I actually don't think I've ever changed the battery because I felt I had to. I just put the 5000 mah battery in and started vaping. I think I vaped the blue one empty in about 12 hours, minus sleep time. One question about the finish though to the shiny owners. It is mot as high shine as a GG or other polished ss mods is seems to be a darker color and a different grid.I know there are different ss quality options, maybe David uses a higher grade steel or is it just the polishing process? BTW, couldn't vape on my way back in the car today since my mouth was numb but I had no problems driving to the dentist but that was only a 10min drive. So far I love it
Though I don't know anything about the grades of steel, I do know that the polish is completely different intentionally. There are Super-T owners who have polished their Precises to a gleaming mirror finish with excellent results. David chooses to ship them with a softer, more maintenance friendly finish.
