I am wondering what do I need to run my super duper awesome shockwave kicked? I ordered the 26650 5k mah battery with the shockwave. I thanks in advance guys and gals.
Again, you need a couple 26500 IMR batteries for the kick, one to use while the other is charging. And a charger that charges them. A high drain IMR 26650 also would be good to use without the kick also.
Makko. The SW, will not accommodate a Kick with the 26650 unless and until David makes an extension. If you want to Kick it, you need the IMR 26500 3000 mAh. BTW, I believe the 26650 5000 mAh is a protected bat which is not recommended. Evolv recommends IMR high drain batteries which I believe have a higher amperage. If and when an extension is provided, I think the 3500 mAh 26650s are IMR and that is probably the best choice. I've never been so hesitant in giving battery advice before but in this thread with David lurking I'm ready to be schooled
The 26650 "5000mAh" should have at least 4200 real mAh, wich would offer 8,4 Amps, plenty to power the kick.

I hope in the future there will be an extension sleeve to accomodate the 26650+kick.. as convenient as the kick is, it's far from being the most efficient solution, a heavy vaper can't get more than 8-9h out of a kick + 26500.

You want to use them out of spec, then you invalidate the warranty. IMR's only according to evolv. Peace out.
63 counted...keep in mind these are the lowest number you could possibly have so give it a range from this number forward depending how high or low you are in the chart. In other words, use common sense.
Please remember, if you want the list to be most accurate, I need the date for sure and either the time in Central(or tell me what time zone you're giving me) or your order number. Or both. They're are several cases where I don't know who to put in front of who else because of incomplete information from either them or the person they are sandwiched between. Thanks!
