User replaceable mechanical snap action switch rated at 10 amps and an unreal 10,000,000 cycles....

With 10,000,000 cycles it will last forever... But I allways like to have spare parts.
David will you be offering an extra switch for sale? Springs....ect?

I should add a little asterisk * to switch ratings (and this applies to all switches). As amperage increases, manufacturers ratings go down, still a damn good switch, but if you are running .01 amps through it vs 10amps, you'll see a difference in life.

He's just looking for an excuse to bump the thread, David. I've never done that... :p

Update: The remaining Shockwave Parts are done. I should get them in tomorrow or Monday. The spring plunger pieces and top post will be sent off to the Rhodium Platers when i get them. The bottom posts are back from the Rhodium Platers and are ready to go.

Riverboat, I will have some extra part switches and springs that i'll keep in reserve.

I'd suggest to rather hold off the shipment, at least the overseas shipments because of the holiday craze. I'd really hate it if my Shockwave got lost in the madness and no amount of monetary compensation could ease my psychological trauma. And consider the fact that I've only been waiting for about half a year. I'd hate to think what other people who've been waiting for longer would feel like

I agree! I think this would make a good mid-January, February present! I also wouldn't have explain why I bought this yet another thing for myself for Christmas when everyone else is getting lumps of coal. Take your time! Polish and re-polish, satinize and re-satinize, I have stuff to vape.

Well, I can understand the overseas shipping thing over the holidays, but for me here in MN, the trip from St. Cloud to me is 1 hour, so I'd like mine as soon as it's done please. That said, I understand the timetable and it sounds like it's ALMOST all in Super T's hands once all the parts are back from plating so that light at the end of the tunnel is getting bright indeed.

I am certain David will send all of them as soon as he can unless otherwise stated. I personally will probably send him an e-mail and ask for it to be sent after New Year's if he announces that he will be sending them before that.

Now that the parts are all machined, this is how it will proceed:

First, Monday i'll send out the remaining contacts out to be Rhodium over Gold plated (same plating as on all PrecisePlus's). That generally takes 2 weeks or less, it's a pretty quick turnaround. Units will be prepped, assembled and shipped in mini batches in the order the orders came in. I'll keep you updated! Nice to finally have the control back in our hands!!

Also, whats really nice about finally nearing the end of this, i've been waiting on the Shockwave parts to be done so i could release my next mod, and no worries, production won't be a problem this time as we won't have to farm out the machining!!!
