First 30 should have shipped yesterday. Mine is number 20 and i don't see any update in my tracking, it's the same as it was on the 22nd of February. Hoping it's not mine that requires refinishing.
I like surprises, just not with overseas shipping on an item that can't be replaced.

Keep the nice pictures/videos and the info about them coming, congrats to all the lucky owners.

Mine (polished) also hasn't updated. I'm hoping for an Arnold Ziffel surprise tomorrow. I'm not concerned, but I can see why you would be. Any uncertainty shipping overseas is nerve wracking.

[Edit: Yay! Tracking came to life! Shows as shipped yesterday, left MN at 1:13 am this morning. If it hustles I could have it Monday, if not Tuesday for sure!!!]

Just a reminder, if you receive batteries with your SW, remember to charge them before use, they come from the factory only about 75% charged or at about 3.8V.

Also, I know some own Kiklets and want to use them on their Shockwaves, and no doubt you can, but i'd use extreme caution when handling as the Shockwave is a heavier mod with its 26650 battery, couple that with a Kick on there and there would be a lot of force on those tiny 510 threads should you drop it.

Best bet is to use the Provided Kick spacer with the IMR 26500 batteries and Kick, they load tested out at over 3000mah, so you will still get awesome vapetimes with them and not risk hurting your Shockwave!

That does make good logical sense...

:)Tuesday for sure:mail:
:) Tracking shows it left for my post office and *should* be on today's truck...but it's a ShockWave so it might be Friday. I have today off, it'll be a long day. I'll either clean the house to pass the time or take a long nap.
I can't wait.
Oh! I just figured out what I need to do. I need to get to Ace to find some o-rings so I can make one of my patented lanyards for it. I've been super klutzy lately, yesterday I dropped my 18650 twice. MUST NOT DROP THE SHOCKWAVE!

Here's a crappy pic of "The Beast"
P3040903.jpg
I got this friday, unfortunatly,I was on my way to work and had to work all weekend.I finally got a chance to get my zau set up and screwed onto the shockwave.
Whatta beast!
It will also make a(very)nice blunt object in a pinch.:)
Thanks David,it took way longer than any of us thought it would, but you saw it thru and created a vaping beast.
ETA The on/off switch works like a champ, not that it will ever get used.

Snork, that is one of my main concerns since I will vape the SW 24/7 but how do I carry it? What to you get from ACE to make a lyncard? BTW.I hope you get yours today, I haven't even gotten a shipping notice yet.
The very first video I uploaded in July 2011 shows one.
ProVari Lanyard - YouTube

They're not stylish. I attach it through my belt loop and I carry my PV in my front pants pocket. If it drops it stops right about my shins. I have no idea whether it would work for you because I don't know what you wear normally - you certainly can't hang it around your neck.

You will know when it's approaching. Your other mods will start feeling inadequate and act jealous and pissy.
Which batteries are people using with these?

Specifically I mean :)

Well, I just used the 26500 Super T generic. It performed well, a little better than one rated higher that I got from Avid. I also have 2 AW 2300mahs that I'm saving for last.

As for 26650s, Super T generic, MNKE 3500 and 4000mah haven't been used in the SW but are proven good performers, especially the MNKEs.
