In Romania people smoke everywere. Sure, we got "non-smoker area" wich is mainly a lonely table in the same bar , restaurant, wich has a no smoking sign on it, but that's it. We don't have a big drug problem, so people assuming that you are doing drugs is a very slim chance. I also look more like the guy that pays you a visit when you don't pay the bookie's debts, so people rarely ask me what i'm doing, but i get noticed all the time, as the stealth-vaping concept is unknown to me. Of course, i don't vape when going to the movies, as i would hate if someone did that in front of me with a good atomizer, so i'm not rude to anyone. I prefer crowded elevators:) When the doors close, i switch to 100% diluted menthol crystals and one drop of PG:)

On a more serious note, battery life both in 26650 and 26500+kick is great. I only now managed to discharge the AW26500+kick for the first time, and when i metered it, it was at 3.52v. My kick is perma-set to 10W as i don't use clearos to lower it to 8-9. On one occasion, it wouldn't fire and i was thinking to myself " damn, i kinda knew it.. 2300 mAh 26500 would be comparable to 2250 mAh 18650 " and i tightened the on/off one notch. Started working again and got quite a lot of runtime after that. There's no comparison with 18650+kick.
I am very pleased .. first time when i tightened it a notch i was thinking to myself " i wonder if i need to do this a few more times... i wonder if i'll turn my 17mm tall kick into a 1.7mm tall kick" :) Not the case, all good.. i really love this unit.

Woohoo! Hope you like it - I love mine. Just a word of advice - since the tank is glass, you may not want to stand the shockwave up on a hard surface with it on, since there's no telling what would happen if you accidentally knocked it over.

Yeah that's good advice, and a habit I'll need to break with this tank. I'll have to start carrying around a towel to lay it on or something to prevent rolling. Thanks.

Hurry up already.....How long do these things take to assemble anyway???

WAYYYY too long! And to add insult to injury, i'm the only one here who can do the final assembly. Just too important of a job and attention to detail is a must. We are getting through them though. By saturday, i think i'll be about halfway through them all. Thats the goal.

I feel for those of you who are still waiting but the WHOLE wait disappears as soon as you open the mailbox and see "SuperT" on the label. Ive gone through 3 tanks in the ZAU without even thinking about a battery. Love the button also and the overall look/feel is perfect. It really is a small PV considering the size of the battery.

Still loving my ShockWave.
Shortly after my video I oiled the button. It actually did make a difference, super smooth but still retains the perfect positive feedback of a click. One thing though, I used 3in1 oil because that was the light oil I had handy. 3in1 unfortunately stinks to high heaven when it's basically right under your nose. The smell has taken several days to dissipate but it was rough going at first. I might suggest giving any lubricant a good smell test before you commit. I think I'll go Greek in the future and try olive oil. :)

I used the oil that comes with hair clippers, it is odorless. You could also just use mineral oil if you have any around, that's odorless unless you use baby oil, and that has the baby oil fragrance in it too along with the mineral oil. Did you get an AMP snork?

No,, I keep waffling and missing out. In this case I don't want to be too much of an early adopter and I want to see a little of what people think of it over a longer term.I guess I just don't know enough about it to pull the trigger. I'm sort of more focused on the mystery of the ELA top cap.

Bummer...I was hoping to get a glowing preliminary report. Supposedly people are badmouthing it on the Faceborg so I'm getting nervous about it and I'm hoping there's just a small learning curve. Oh well.

LOL in an effort to get a little hyped up about an AMP Tank I thought I'd watch a video about it. Made a bad choice apparently, I just watched Wishtart's incredibly droll presentation. In videodom I'm Beyonce to his Adele!
