Shockwave for a wand....? Shockwave for a Wand plus $1000.00 would be more like it!l
I was thinking of the Wand + cash, but no amount of cash would cover my loss if I had to part with my Shockwave
First day with the SW.
I choose the Cobra with kanthal ribbon 0.5 mm. (0.8 ohm) The Trustfire 5000 was at 4.17v at the begining of the day after 4 ml I still have 3.88v and more than 14w of power. Awesome !!!

Big surprise today my Shockwave arrived 
i arrived at work and the receptionist told me a parcel arrived for me yesterday (i had the day before off) as soon as she past it to me i knew what it was and an even bigger shock, there were no customs charges !, usually anything i order from the states has customs charges and they never release it until it gets paid so this was good news indeed as one i wasn't expecting it for another week and two i was expecting to pay at least £30 in customs charges, i was happy as a pig in s**t, i ran to my locker room and opened it immediately, it looked beautiful, a simple well thought out design and precision engineered, holding it in my hand for the first time it more than met my expectations, knowing there was about 3.8v in the battery i had to give it a whirl, i put the battery in screwed the cap on and put my Penelope on top, pressed the button and it fired up first time with no adjustment, this would be the proof of the pudding and it didn't disappoint, man this thing packs a punch, i tend to coil all my attys at about 1.6ohms and pairing with a good mechanical mod, i find i get a much more enjoyable vape than using vv or vw and with the size of the batts in this the drop off should take much longer to arrive, anyhow i dismantled it and couldn't wait to get home to charge the battery fully and try it with my kayfun, which i did and it works great, the brushed steel kayfun looks really good on it, i must say a perfect match looks and performance wise, also tried it with my Spheroid which works equally well, i love the feel of the button as well it seems really light to press and no misfires what so ever, all in all i couldn't be more happy with my Shockwave and yes it was worth the wait, its not something i will be taking out with me i'm keeping this at home for my evening vape, but saying that i will definitely be taking it to Vapefest this August. Mine too, but the way I am looking at it, it's progress. Just hoping it gets delivered before the holiday. At least I think USPS is closed Friday.
Mine finally took off out of Saint Paul last night, I'm sure yours is right behind. Or ahead. ShockWave tracking is erratic!

I got no shipping notice(if I did,I don't remember it)but not knowing it is in the mailbox when you expect to get bills and other junk mail,that hefty box with super T on it will make your day.He77,it might make your week,month,year.
This thing is a monster!,and I mean that in a good way.I vaped a 1.2 ohm genny on mine with a MNKE 26650 battery for 16 hrs.(about 2.5-3mls) at work last night and it was still at 3.92v when I got home this morning.Who needs a kick with power like that.
I'm really interested to see whether we can trade or not...depends.

Okay so I know I'm a minority here with all you RBA fanatics, but I gotta say that the Shockwave + AMP tank + a good atty is my bliss. I just finally loaded the tank up and it is working just as advertised. I am so thrilled with this combo. If you follow instructions it's a game changer. I know, I know, wait and see after a week right? Well we'll see but I'm stoked. Of course I'll still be curious to see what David cooks up for a system.

Dropped mine 3 times so far,not intentionally,once in the workshop,the drip tip broke,glass tank was fine & no damage to the SW,once in the kitchen & lounge,this thing is shockproof too I'm glad to say.
