I'm pretty sure it's not SS. Heat treated, yes, but the un-treated parts are gold-colored, not like SS. I've put some pics below.
The response time on the SW button is amazing. It fires full-force pretty much immediately. And so smooth and easy to push. Love the ratcheting bottom, though I haven't really needed to use it much. I'm using the MNKE 26650s. Finish is flawless. The entire unti is much lighter and smaller than I expected it to be. Amazing device all the way around.
I have one too...Im sure its SS as David pulled the Brass ones off his site...
Look on the SuperT site under drip tips....

Heat treating will cause the Blued and Gold colors.....

Well, it indeed sure does look just like the one on the site, so I suppose it must be SS. So the heat treating turns the entire thing gold, I suppose. It appears to be gold through-and-through, even on the bottom and on the inside of the drip tip. In any event, it looks really cool.

Thats strange that was suppose be shipped in the #'s shipped before the last shipments of 50-59....???

I just got off the phone with the postmaster general. Your shockwave was mistaken for a pipe bomb, and was remotely obliterated by a crack bomb squad.

I got the same tip, or should I say had. My wife decided to tax my Shockwave and made the drip tip hers as it "coordinates" with her purple mod better. Oh well, I opened the drawer satin Super T tips and popped a new one on.
But, I am certain mine is stainless steel as its the same weight as my non torched one. I believe brass would be lighter or heavier. Maybe I am wrong.

That was shipped out about two weeks ago. Send me your email address to supertmanufacturing@yahoo.com and i'll forward you the tracking information. I did notice the ship to address on the order is different then the purchaser address.
Quarter past never,no plans to make anymore at this point.
aw man they got to make more, this is probably the best looking 26650 mod out there and if I found this thread earlier I would have bought one

I'm hoping David will make Tanburs with this treatment because I like the cooler vape this gives me with certain atties. I've already been asking for a heat treated drip shield and he is thinking about doing that in a month or two hopefully.
