nope. david said it was sent two weeks ago, and he thought the payment address and shipping address were different. I reviewed all my emails and everything was the same and correct.
Just waiting for a response.![]()
If the delivery address got mixed up somehow the only real way to get your Shockwave is to contact whoever is living at the address to which it was delivered. Ask David to give you the address. It took 4 days for me to get my response. I guess there's a lot of e-mails because the end of production of the ELA is drawing near
there should not have been a mixup. the address was the same on everything. I just need to discuss this with david. I know he is super slammed, and I am not mad, or accusing so I hope it is not coming off that way. I am mostly a little concerned and confused![]()

Ok OB, i think i've found the problem, your order number was 12638, which is Shockwave serial number #79, which has not shipped yet. It should ship by weeks end and i'll send you out a tracking number when it ships![]()

He got the main point right. It's awesome.
My satin one Tristan has been going to work with me. It's as portable as any other device I have, tethered for the safety of small children. I have absolutely no qualms about taking it out of the house.
Friday during naptime I'm going to make another video where I disassemble/reassemble the top cap live onstage. I just have to see what makes it tick since I have the luxury of a backup should I get in over my head.
That's exactly why I want to take it apart. As I've said a bunch on here, I'm pretty rough on my devices. It doesn't usually bother me. This is the first device I've had that I feel the need to baby. It doesn't need it, but I still feel the need. I'm trying to get over it. The only thing that seems slightly delicate is the button. I'm so used to pushing mod bottoms with some force that I have to consciously hold back on this one. It seems to have some play beyond the activation click. What happens if it's pushed in too hard? Will something in there bend? Looking forward to your dismantling, Snork.

My silver one's button feels different than my satin. The satin, like you said, has some play beyond the activation point. The silver one stops. I want to get in there and see if there's a reason or if it's just personality.
That's interesting that they behave differently. I can definitely feel something bending if I push the button too hard.
