Blackend red, naturally! :) Sorry the pic is too small.

Actually, I think this is not like a house of mirrors, it's more like that effect when you are watching an event on television where they show a screen that is showing the same image that is on your television, so you get an endless link of that image nested in itself, into infinity, smaller and smaller. I've always been fascinated by that effect.

Wow so my repeated posts about adopting a ShockWave orphan was shot down by a profiteering classified ad.

I'm very sad and sad for David as he could have used that extra "profit"

If you want to call me "profiteering" do so. I hoped the SW would be the last mod (beside a Caravela) I'd ever have and I did love it. I made sure to sell it to somebody who will appreciate its workmanship, love it but most importantly USE it daily. I asked every "buyer" why he wanted it, why he wasn't on the pre-order etc. I did a whole screening prcess making sure it will go to the perfect owner. Yes, I would have liked to keep the SW and just vape it in bed BUT I am a single mom (my fault I know) and a full-time student. I will probably regret selling it and am sad already so please spare me your comment. If you wanted a SW so badly you could have contacted me since I was on the fence quite a few times.
Thank you David for making such a fantastic device, thank you SW friends and I am sorry if I insulted anybody by making a profit on a mod I loved, anticipated for almost a year, had anxiery attacks over and wish I could have kept. Now my last mod(s) will be a Caravela AND an ELA.

It's been said repeatedly, but this thing hits HARD. I rebuild my own attys, and the ones that are good on other devices are way too hot on the Shockwave. I have one that gets so hot that a plastic mouthpiece is uncomfortable (my tounge is a little scortched). I now need specific attys for use on only the Shockwave. And that is a good thing. Awesome device.

Siouxsie, yes you're right.... its none of MY business. Its all about Super T's business! David lost a lot of money on these and I'm sure he would have liked to make the extra $200 per unit. I just feel that no matter who it is (even if it were a friend or family) it is morally wrong to profit from someone else's hard and diligent work. And that's just MY opinion.

Take for example Zen. He LOATHES profiteering from his products and has stated publicly that if he finds anyone who profits from said items, that they are no longer welcome in the Zenesis community and his subforum. I have to say, I don't blame him and I'm on his side.... as well as David's side.

I never meant to offend anyone with my original statement, I was just expressing my feeling. I made it known months ago, that I would happily accept someone's unwanted ShockWave to keep it in the hands of a Super T fan and someone who would love it forever. Seeing it go out like this just made me want to say something about it. But consider this the last I will speak of it.

Yes, well that's all well and good. I think though it's more about you not getting it at the original price than any hard feelings about David not getting paid more. I don't particularly like seeing them sold by folks that bought them to resell at a markup, that is what profiteering is. Silverrocks purchased hers to use and found that it is not for her size wise so that's different. Additionally, David himself stated that shockwave owners are going to do whatever they like with their Shockwaves, including selling them at whatever price they like. He said we should respect that. So there's that. Several others had already sold their shockwaves at more than retail, and they are worth more than what we paid, and as long as they are not made anymore, will continue to be worth more still. So why should anybody take less than what it is now worth, as a limited release? Also, I don't think anyone was allowed to purchase more than 1 or 2, especially towards the end, nobody who already had purchased one was allowed to purchase a second.

Who are we to dictate to others what they can do or not do with their property, especially since we waited almost a year in some cases on a 6 week pre-order. These are fantastic mods.
