I decided to take another stab at a tank and ordered a SilverPlay. The only RTA I ever bought was the Orchid. While I liked it and it provided a great vape with great flavor, I just couldn't stand the occasional dry hits when you don't get the build just right. Don't get me wrong, I could put good builds on it that worked fine, but sometimes I would change the wick and it would be back to the dry hits. I just prefer RDA's since I never have that problem. This SilverPlay, and the Goblin, look interesting. It looks like the next real version of the Orchid; not talking about the v2, v3, v4, etc. clones. Looks like it has deeper juice channels and bigger air holes. The bigger air holes seem a bit concerning as to whether it will make it more prone to leakage. I really like the included tank. The project sub ohm logo is pretty cool IMO. I assume I can use the Orchid top cap if I want to? I see it works with kayfun parts.

You can use the kayfun/orchid tanks but you have to use the top chimney from the kayfun so it reduces the chimney ID to 4mm down from 6mm
Has anyone here used one of these yet? It is very tempting tp pick one up for 30, but I'd love to get some hands on experience from someone first.
Mine shipped out today (I think they just started shipping) so probably no one has it in hand atm
They should have done a youtube video review before they put it up for sale. They would have hyped people up a lot more.
I wouldn't necessarily say they should have done a video, but they def should have sent a batch out to reviewers before announcing the release.
Bit the bullet and bought a Silverplay. I'm fond of the Lemo and the Orchidv4. So hopefully this one has similar airflow, or better. Its been hard to beat the airflow on the Lemo. The only thing thats come close is a Big Buddha that I drilled out.

I almost popped on the Goblin because there were no reviews yet on the Silverplay.
I decided to hold out and wait for silverplay reviews because a couple people said the Goblin deck was very small. A small atty deck is easy enough to build on but getting the wicking right is a PIA for me on a small RTA deck.

The deck is definitely bigger on the Silverplay, can tell right away in pics. The Goblin deck IS quite small. Since they seem to have about equal airflow and my Goblin is just disgustingly open (equal to a Mephisto V1 RDA) Im sure youll be very happy with the Silverplay.
In the promo pics of the silverplay there appears to be set up showing an acrylic tank hybrid mode. I'm liking that but see no mention of it in the specs and no option to purchase.

Stock it comes with the Half SS/Half acrylic tank setup, the other pics is it using Kayfun tanks
I want to know which parts I need for the the one to the left and the one to the right of the stock kit in that picture. I wish they would have just sold those options that they show.
It comes with glass tank, not polycarbonate. They say Pyrex but I'm sure it's not actually from the Pyrex brand, just easier to call it that, like Band-Aids and Kleenex.
If this performs anything like the Goblin, you guys are going to be very, very happy.
