Holy jeez it DOES look like that! But I just checked it again and it seems to be ok....perhaps i don't have the glass seated properly though?

Guess I gotta tear it apart though to find out for sure....

I'd vape through the tank first. If your getting good flavor, why break it down before you have to? Looks nice. I don't have enough juiced to fill the tank or I'd have vaped mine by now.

Well I just got my Silverplay in. Getting good flavor and great vapor prod from it. I just had one question. When I goto fill it (have it upside down obv) juice comes dripping out of the drip tip. Maybe I don't have the chimney screwed on all the way? Not sure. But it seems to vape great! Also, one other thing I don't like is that you have to fill it slowly, or else the juice backs up out of the fill hole...

Other than that it seems to be a great atty for the money! I put a dual 26ga. Build (.4 ohms) in it...

Try filling it slowly. There is a serious juice flow restriction between chimney and the tank. Iif you squeeze your juice bottle too hard, then the juice end up being forced into the chimney through wicking channel and out the drip tip. I would check to make sure it's properly wicked as well.

This is so far the best setup I have for Silverplay. Silverplay deck + chimeny + Kayfun full tank

It retains the maximum airflow of Silverplay while increasing the juice capacity to 4.5ml. I will play around to see if I can fit it into a Kayfun 30ml conversion tank. I am not sure if air flow modification required makes it even worth the try tho.

It IS probably a bit off alignment. The tank design on this is quite flawed IMO. First, the lip they placed on the inner wall of the tank to hold and retain the glass section creates some serious juice flow restriction while reducing the juice capacity. Second, the glass section DOES NOT actually sit into any grooves for stability. While the seal is successfully achieved through o-ring, the tank can actually be shifted side to side just a tiny bit. The worst part is that it is easy to overtighten and chip or crack the tank.

Absolutely in love with mine! Couple builds and combinations and I can honestly say I don't really notice a difference when using the SP vs the Kayfun chimney... I don't believe it as the SPs chimney is like doube the diameter!

So far my fav set up is a Kayfun nano kit, Kayfun micro "slammed" cap with Kayfun chimney... 0.50 dual 26g. Thing is an unreal dream... Not a single dry hit! And the airflow... Crap... When wide open its too open for me... Think a fully open Plume Veil... Maybe a little more. I'm digging it in flavor mode with the neg post holes closed and main holes at 3/4.

This is in a league above the Lemo, Goblin and Billow... Not even a competition.

Yes, I am glad that I went with this instead of Goblin or Billow. It is a big step forward in high wattage RTA vaping.

Yeah it is! And the build quality... I can't believe this only costs $40! Best $40 I've ever spent on vape gear. It's just so awesome that it fits with all the Kayfun parts and accessories. I'm rocking it super tiny now with nano kit and cap and it's about the same height (tad taller) than the Darkhorse it's sitting next to. And if I want more capacity I can screw on the original equipment, or even go further with some Kayfun extended sleeves and tall caps. Awesome!

Could you please point me to where to get those parts, and possibly an option to allow top filling? This low capacity is killing me, especially since we have to break out tools to refill it.

Do you own a Goblin? Curious as to why you say no competition there, they are *very* similar and have the same airflow

Check out Fasttech... They have a bunch of really nice Kayfun parts. There are also some other modders who make top fil caps but those are more than the atty itself lol.

Got mine last night.
Couple things I hate are the fill hole and the glass sleeve. My fill hole is obstructed and even my smallest luer lock syringe backs up on me and struggles to fill. If I use my bottle tips, I have to be real careful because when it's upside down you can't tell how full the reservoir is after the glass. So if I squeeze too much, I get an overflow of juice everywhere. The stock glass sleeve seems like an afterthought. Mine is about 1mm too small in diameter and shifts when tightened down. Just looks odd to me and if it was slightly larger I.d. It would fit better and allow a tad more juice volume.

Other than that it's nice for the price. Threads are pretty nice and it doesn't cut wires which I like.
Time to get some kayfun parts!!!!!

Few pics of the coils and whole unit. Wasn't happy with my first wick attempt (not keeping up well, even after dropping watts) so will vape down tank and try again.

Damn that sucks about your tank... Mine fits snug... Though I'll never use it with all the better Quartz glass Kayfun tanks I have... Also have a nice bell cap coming it that will be pretty nice. The should just sell the Silverplay base/deck as a stand alone really! Mine fills easily with any of my blunt syringes too. I wonder if the full hole is a last step or something and it's position can vary a little. If so that's unfortunate.

Hey snow blind!
Happy new year and hope all is great!

I do a tear down today and just leave the coils since they are not an issue. Maybe I didn't notice a burr or other blockage at the fill hole. I've got a dremel set that I can use for just about anything atty related so I'll give it a shot. The silverplay does have great flavor though when I can get mine to keep up on lower watts. As good or better than my lemo

Happy vaping

Def check for burrs. I did have a tiny metal burr hanging on the inner edge of my main air channel inside.. Toothpick knocked it free.

So after finally getting some juice in this thing, I'm LOVING it!
So now, the question is where that is not China ( mainly cuz I'm impatient ) can I get good nano parts for it?

Also, can someone explain how going to the nano chimney might affect the draw? I haven't even hit it wide open yet. It's freaking amazing. So glad I waited it out to find this gem when looking to try the Kayfun experience.

Made a thread with a quick review with a few pics of my preferred build on the SilverPlay.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/640997-silverplay-rta-review-pics.html#post14996498

snow blind, very nice quick review! Good stuff included. Appreciate the tip about pre-bending your negative terminal wire legs. Also, I'm sorry to hear about your negative post screw, hopefully its not "that" bad.

Now I'm just waiting for the Postman to come for Vapemail :mail:, my SP is "supposed" to arrive today. *crosses fingers* We shall see.

Thanks for the kind words! And def bend those legs... If you don't you'll have a difficult time getting the wick down on the negative side of the channel. Took me a few tries to find the right points to bend but it's easy with 26 gauge. The negative screw and threading was fine thankfully, just had to back it out and screw it in properly... I was rushing to post a few pics and just slammed it together in 5 mins lol. Let us know what you think of the arty... It's so damn good!

Another tip... Use larger coils... This thing suffocated if they're below 2mm or juice will get by and you'll leak like mad! 2-3mm seems perfect for the amount of cotton needed to fill the large juice channels on the top of the deck with cotton.
