I know you'll take care of it if needed Bruce. This is my first CE2. Let me fiddle with it for another day. I'll let you know if I want to exchange it.
I used voltages between 3.6 and 5.5 in .1 volt increments and am going at 3.1 ohms
The 3 ohm should be good at 3.7 and sometimes higher, they are a little different that standard attys. If you have a VV, try low volts and go up until you find the taste you're looking for. They are a little different to get used to. Let me know....
I'm talking to Bruce about offering these ready to insert. I'll let you know when I hear back from him. I will take a leap and say yes, for now. LOL
I can't believe that after FINALLY visiting the site and seeing them available, adding to my cart, then attempting to sign in to complete the order (password mess-up), that by the time I got my password change completed if pulled my item out of the cart and it was no longer available !!
Jebus !!.... frustrating as ole hell, especially considering I want both of these new mods being offered by COV...... arrrrrrg....

Sorry smokum, they are going that fast. More next week. The MAP is getting a duplicator so he can build them faster!
You say that as if its a "bad" thing ? lol.... I never get what I want anyways, but I can always expect it and keep fooling myself !
I have a few of the short CE2's, so I started playing with them trying to get a little more juice in it. This is what I came up with.
Works great, holds about 1.5 ml, but not much for the tube to grab on to but doesn't leak.
At least I'm able to get some use out of the shorty's!

stormi...I would love to have one of your shorty tanks. I have about 10 of the shorty's that I've modded using syringe tubes but they really look stupid, but work. I can't seem to kill the darn things and don't want to just throw them away. PM me if you're interested in selling one.
I gotta get in on the stormy & map-tank train. Got a notification email at work today that they were available & by the time I got home, none left. 
I'll catch em at the next stop hopefully. I'm tempted to buy the e2 first while they're available & just sit on it until the housing comes in stock.
Here's a question about either of these mods: since I'm a die-hard 510 6v kind of guy, I'm inclined to think I should go with the similarly oHm rated e2 of 2.4, please correct me if I'm wrong. For me 510=2.4oHm + 6v =
For $5 I'll probably just end up getting em all & see which reminds me most of the harshness I dig.
1 last question thats probably already been asked: are the e2 replacement innards compatible with both the stormy & the MAP-Tank?

So what would the 2.4 or 2.8 ohm e2's be good for then?-strictly 3.7v?
& @ 6v would it hyper-torch liquid, make it taste burnt & funky or what here?

I guess the 2.4Ω might be fine on an Ego putting out 3.2v. I'm not sure, I don't use Ego stuff. These things have a wicking limit. They just won't wick fast enough (for me) over 4.2v. That's not to say they don't perform well. I've tried pretty well every juice delivery method known to man and, again for me, this works the best. I get tons of flavor and vapor from a 3.2Ω Clear Modded E2 at 3.8-4.0volts. Just to be clear on this, I don't like un-modded E2's but the 2ml Clear E2 mod from COV just works great. Actually, yesterday for some reason I tried to go back to dripping to see if it was everything I remembered it was. It wasn't! These are better and one 2ml carto lasts me about 6 hours.
I submitted my email for "Notify Me" when they come in on COV. Been waiting quite a while. Today I went to check and no longer see them at all on COV. Anyone know how I can get one? Thanks for any info.
