Yeah, the mini atty is trending right now. Nothing wrong with that but I don't see a lot of innovation just imitation. They suit my vaping style - great flavor with plenty of airflow and dense Vapor. I don't care about cloud chasing but I do like a nice amount of thick Vapor. The Derringer does that well. So does the Samurai Bonsai, Tugboat with Slammed Cap and the Odin. They're all I use at the moment and I'm mainly looking forward to new versions of those attys.

Thanks for reminding me about the Samurai Bonsai!

And one more thing, you all with The D have no more to do to convince me. I must have one, a real one! I have used one and it was great, but it wasn't my build or my liquid (obviously those two things will make a big difference). I am going to have to cut ties with some atties and move some others around in my cue so I can get one! It will likely be the v1.3, so I hope that one is just as good.

Got my stumpy in today (never received a shipping notice, so it was a nice surprise). Easy as hell to build (reminds me of my velocity with the 2 post design). Threw a 5 wrap 3mm 26ga kanthal single coil on it in a minute, wicked it and tried it out. I'm impressed! The flavor is great so far (similar to my derringer), although it's less "wet". So far no spit back (an improvement over the derringer). I got the teflon "chuff" drip tip. Taking it off you can really see why you get such good flavor - the wick and coil is REALLY close to the top of the cap. It's low profile, but not quite as small as the derringer. So far, it doesn't appear to "seep" as much as the derringer either, but sometimes that doesn't manifest for a few hours or days, so we'll see.

I'm really liking this - and I'm surprised that it seems to be flying under the radar a bit, it seems. Really impressed.

I've been toying with the idea of buying a second derringer for a few months now, but I'm glad I waited and got one of these instead.

How's your wicking? Mine is incredible and wildly efficient! I may be completely spoiled by the two-post design now. I simply don't want to build on anything else, but that makes my choices small.

Oh yeah, @vaptamist, can you tell me what you mean by "seep"ing? I wonder if it's what I am thinking....

That is a great deal!

Especially for anyone on the fence. For those that just bought it , well, maybe not so much! LOL. Frankly, I think this is the price is should've been from jumpstreet. I would feel more confident recommending this at the price of ~$70 (but that also goes for many other RDAs).

Juice leaking out of the airholes.

Wow. I think I am way too caught up in the vernacular of vaping.

That sale is gong on until midnight tonight (Code: [HASHTAG]#EMDAD[/HASHTAG]) Just my opinion here, but after sitting with this atty since it came out, I am loving it. Absolutely loving it. There are couple things I would change about it, but I am still quite content with it.

Death to the three-post design! Long live the two-post.

This thing going under the radar is my cup of tea. People are hype beasts so its nice not to have this thing sold out all over. Another classic (my opinion the best tri post RDA out now) is the Revolt by Hazematic. The materials are of the highest caliber, with only one single negative being a cylindrical positive post. Anyone considering an awesome looking classy 3 post should not pass this thing up. I know alot of people talk about flavor/vapor RDA's these days, but this thing truly can do both with genius options that get you there. Fully PEEK top cap option for ultra hot vapes, nuff said.

I been looking for a small atty to buy for some time. I was going to get the M atty, but that thing is bullf*** limited run hype nonsense. The derringer just doesn't look good enough in my opinion, and when I saw this atty, instantly thought it might have been an Apollo RDA mini from By Leo I think it is. I cant wait to try a two post design, with no third post blocking the flow of airflow and having anything impeeding the vapor flow. The one thing I wanna see is how these circular air holes compare to a fully single airflow slot. Also the bevel portion from tip to outter barrel looks nice and should help with heat dissipation. Got a bunch of other accessories with this thing, but now I hear there is a BF option? Never saw such tbh, but would that be like a centerpin conversion of sorts, or a totally different atty?

BF'd Stumpy in the house! Tossed a quick 2.5mm 26ga build in it. Super easy to build and the flavor is as good or better than my beloved Derringers. This may be a Derringer killer for me - and I don't say that lightly. The atty is beautifully machined.

On a related note, this atty is begging for Ni200 builds.

Whoa! That is HUGE from you, @inswva!

Is your top cap hard to spin for the airflow adjustment? If so, a fix I used was to pop the top cap off from the barrel and drip pure VG around the rim. Spins pretty easily now (though still requiring a little elbow grease).

Yeah, it's got close tolerances, that's for sure. I typically run my attys WTFO but I'll definitely lube it up and see if it helps.

Argh, I was hoping you'd say it wasn't as good as the Derringer so I wouldn't be tempted to spend more money.

They are super close in terms of vape quality - or, more accurately, the vape qualities I prefer. Flavor and vapor production are kind of a toss up but I'm pretty sure I like the two post design of the Stumpy better than the three posts in the Derringer. I can't wait until my SX350J Tmod is finished so I can rock a nickel build in the Stumpy. I suspect it will then kick all of the ....

My Derringers won't be going anywhere any time soon though.

Yeah, I've kinda mangled my thumb and index fingernails using those cut-outs (even with the lube, but without the lube it wouldn't barely budge). The only reason I ever adjust it is when my battery starts to drop off. Once the battery drops (to maybe around 3.9v) I close off one hole. At ~3.7v I drop to one hole for a brief period and then I get a fresh battery and open'er back up.
