We could pull it together. Danny would email us a list of questions and we could video ourselves (in character) answering the then we email the clips to him and he videos his asking and reactions and puts together the movie

Here is a fly combo I found at WalMart. I'm sure it's much cheaper than a Cabela's setup. Think it might work? My other reels and open-face reels would never be altered for this purpose.

That looks like it'll be fine. Just be sure to mount your reel before you superglue the nipple on there.
I like all the holes around the flange in the cabellas reel so you can run the wire end thru.
I would say get a semi decent inexpensive setup because after you use it once, you will not want to use any other method. Trust me on that.
