This happened recently. Took my little girl to Toys"R"Us for more things she does not need!
An associate caught me vaping and told me I wasn't allowed to smoke in the store. I politely told her I was not smoking (which was the truth) and she was like "oh".
Later she approached me and asked to see my PV (I had the M16 in 18350 and the g50 on top). Turns out she was a smoker and she said she needed to quit for health reasons, had tried via Chantix but relapsed. She asked a lot of questions and even apologized. She said when she saw that vapor cloud she thought it was smoke. I answered her questions and gave her info for our little local group.
We are breaking new ground here in "tobacco country", (North Carolina) 4 new vape shops have opened in the area and we are even having a mini vapecon soon, but there is still much more work to be done. More exposure is neccesary I think. There are still many who do not know what these things are or have never seen them in actual use.
