Maybe I am a magician when I said that a problem will occure about UFS production
Theads dont much with the first UFS run. I will try to correct the issue but I doupt. Its not something that will prevent the sales but it would be nice if threads much the previous batch so we could have interchangeable parts with the previous version.
I too want one i've been drooling for a couple months but this could have bigger issues. It means Imeo may have to make replacement parts for both versions which could possibly gum up the works.

Hmmm. Maybe you can just call it the UFS revision B or UFSv1a.

You know, now that I think about it, maybe this error will make them more valuable, like a postage stamp that was printed upside down or a coin struck with two heads. They'll be the rarest of the rare, and will inspire the greatest of envy among GG collectors!

Lol that would be crazy to have in the sig. Hopefully you can fix it Imeo but if not I don't think anyone would mind. They are just excited to get there hands on a UFS.

I am sure Imeo will let us know what the difference is but my guess and it is no more than a guess at this point, is that the new steel connectors likely have a thread like the Stealth caps does and would not be compatible with first run SS GGTS or first run UFS.
It is also a possibility that the window threads are different. Recall Imeo listed that he was going to make the window threads longer for better stability. I know this sounds a problem but like many have said, these are still desired just as much as the first run if not more so.
At any case, even if the new UFS has to be called UFSv2, it will still sell out just as fast. Any additional parts that have to be made can be made as say connector v1 or connector v2. There is a precedent for this already as for the name differences in the AVS and AFS feeder systems.

Well I recall when the list of changes were posted that my thoughts ran to the fact that any piece that has longer threading on the new UFS (such as the window or pieces above and below the window) wouldn't match the first run UFS pieces.
Imeo increased the specifications for a reason and I am sure not every piece is incompatible with the first run. I understand Imeo's pursuit of perfection and that is what makes him Imeo. But in all honesty, how many are going to have two UFS and even then, fewer still that would want to mix parts. I'm sure Imeo will come up with a fix though. He always does!

Machine shop made very nice parts as they always do but they didnt check them on the old parts. So its a new UFS in reality. So maybe I have to name it UFS 2 to avoid any misunderstoodings from previous customers Zor
I dont have a problem to make 2 kind of replacement parts fright. Its like making a new project so I have to have parts for this project too. not a problem for me
