I'm interested. A couple of questions for you...

How hard is it to change atomizers? What cart/atty is this using, 901? What is your price?

Outstanding work, sir.

Not hard - just pull out the tube and unscrew the atomizer. The tube pulls in and out of the cart easily, but I'm looking into something that will bend and make unhooking the tube unnecessary. It's all 901 equipment. I'm not sure on a price yet - something that covers my time and parts but not insane.

My question:
Do you actually "pump" that bottle? Does the atomizer not get flooded?

Yes, you pump it - it only pumps out a couple of drops with each pump so it won't flood unless you do it a bunch of times. The timing and amount needed are easy to figure out once you get the hang of it.

What does everyone think a fair price for this would be? What would you pay for one?

Interested, but not crazy about the size of it.
I've been thinking about building something similer using a flashlight. Somehow have a "bag" of fluid surround the battery to make it more compact.
Also, seems there could be some kind of "fluid system" that fills the carts as they get dry. (and not use a pump)
I was playing around with the cart material, people use different stuff like coffee filters etc.
I used to roll my own cigs with the
rollyourowntubes.asp
filter tubes.
The filter material works great for the carts. If sucking too hard you don't get nic in your mouth.
Mayby these would work as an "absorber" for the fluid?

Ok, good news and bad news. First the good news - I found the switches I need! Now the bad news - I only found two that were the right size.

I can make two UPACs identical to mine using the same switch. I MAY be able to fit in a slightly bigger switch (that I have plently of) but I don't know if it will work.

I'm going to start making the two and keep an eye out for more switches and/or figure out a way to use the bigger switch. I have enough boxes to make 6 total.

Price will be $50 plus shipping. These are limited to 901 atomizers for now.

PM me if you are interested.

Sorry to everyone who is waiting on one of these - I've been busy with other things lately and I haven't had a chance to sit down and start making these, and I'm not sure when I will have time. It's been a busy summer so far, and these are more of a hobby than a source of income.

When I do get a chance, I'm going to make a handful and go down the line of people who have asked for one and see if they still want one. I'll completely understand if they went somewhere else for a mod or aren't interested anymore. I'm not going to offer these again until I actually have some made.

Again, sorry.

Why don't you just license this to some manufacturer/supplier (Janty? Puresmoker?) and collect royalties?

Win-win-win. That is:
  1. You can get on with your life while still bringing this to market.
  2. The supplier can make lots of money.
  3. We consumers can get our hands on it.
Don

Smokefree and vaping for all of 10 days now ... haven't saved any money yet:( ... but having fun:)!

That sounds like a lot of hassle for something that isn't (and probably can't be) patented, let alone most anyone can make one for themselves.

There's nothing to stop a manufacturer from making one right now - a pump bottle with a tube isn't exactly hard to replicate. The design could easily be improved and miniaturized in a factory as well.

Since you can't make these for us, can you give step by step instructions on how to make it ourselves? Easy enough for an educated but not techie person like myself?

It's just a box mod (like many of the others here) with my added juice pump mod. Check out the $1 juice pump thread, there's instructions in there.

If I ever find time to make another I'll take pics.

The next evolution of the juice pump is here! Improved battery life with two 14500 batts running in parallel, bigger 4ml easy pump and refill reservoir, an on/off switch to complement the already smart switch placement, and all of this integrated into a 4xAA box for good looks and security.
Moonman;
Did you have to put a diode/resistor inline to lower the voltage?
