Yea, if someone doesn't want to buy bulk, Ace Hardware has it for about 35 cents per foot...

Just picked up some the other day from Ace........19 cents per foot! Bought one foot, and it works great! I used it in a hard plastic 5ml bottle and vaped all day using a Chuck. No battery or juice change.......I love it! Thanks for the tip you guys (and gals). :D

The nice thing about Ace is that they have two different 1/4" styles to choose from:

#1. Vinyl, it's clear color and soft texture with a smaller internal diameter hole of 1/8" ID
#2. Poly, it's kind of whitish color and harder texture with a larger internal diameter hole

I purchased both but prefer the #1

The hardware store here had some but it had a sticky substance all over it-didn't know what it was so I did not purchase. Went to Home Depot and they did not have any small enough. Went to the petstore-nothing small enough. I had to order more online. Oh well, I was spending the money in gas and frustration running around looking.

I think the 4mm is pretty close to the 5/32" size. I have yet to try the 1/4" but will do as soon as I make it to the hardware store. It seems to me that as long as you make a nice tight seal in the cap you should be good to go. With the smaller diameter stuff it fits over the internal part of the tip and the larger stuff fits inside the ID of the cap itself. So either way they both should work. As long as my theory holds juice... lol...

Thanks Vaporologists, I purchased enough to last a lifetime! LOL
I can use it as a ring adjuster, too. Cut off a tiny section and split one side length wise and wrap around the back of a ring. I am sure I can find many uses for any extra I have.

Hey you could run a tube from your easy chair into the fridge and drink nice cold beverages without getting out of your seat. :toast:

That would give me great cheek bones, and repair any extra chin I might have-in the future of course:oops:. Can you imagine how long it would take to drink just one cold drink?:p

Thanks to everyone who has helped to find the right bottles for the VapeMate! Today i received my TW 5ml bottles and they are exactly the same top design as the 10ml bottle around which i spec'd the Vapemate's bottle receptacle. These fit with no modifying the tip, no need to remove the tip and no need to add an O-ring. The screw all the way in flush with the bottom of the VapeMate. They are the cats Meow. They actually are not child safety cap bottles, but have the same threads as the safety cap bottles i designed the VapeMate around.

The good news, everyone who has purchased a VapeMate to date will receive two bottles and all future orders will also come with two bottles. Please be patient with me though, as i won't be able to get these mailed out to you until after Thanksgiving, but i will get them out!

OMGOSH,
ok so I'm getting that this tube is not like the tube in bottom feed boxes, that is like finish nail head size or even smaller; i mean, my Phidias has a needle feed.
ok, so 1/4 and 3/16 "s... it is...

If what you actually saw was 1/4 inch tubing, that is exactly what you need to get. If you have any 10ml or larger Dekang bottles, take a cap off of one of them with you and test it in the store...

Just to clarify...if you cap snaps over the top of the bottle(ie 10ml childproof style) then you need the 1/4" tubing. If it snaps down into the tube(ie 6ml non-childproof style) then you need the 3/16" tubing. The 1/4" tubing is far more available from any hardware store...so unless you just have to have "exactly" 6ml's, I'd go with the 5ml, 10ml or 30ml childproof from MadVapes or the 5ml bottles from TotallyWicked. These all work with 1/4" tubing and seal good and tight, with no oring or modification required. Just cut your tubing to length, insert into cap and you're good to go.

"insert into cap" .... sorry, does that mean don't use the dropper mod?
