Did USPS tracking work for this shipment? I ask because I'm still getting:

"The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on November 09, 2010 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later."

Living in the islands, it usually takes an extra day for packages to be delivered. However, I've never seen the post office be noncommittal for this long. Thus, I'm wondering if a postal worker somewhere is enjoying my new VapeMate.:(

Sometimes USPS doesn't update until they drop it at your door. If i were a betting man (i am) i'd bet it will be in your hands tomorrow:)

exactly; i didnt' know if it was how the supplier designated it or what but half the time you can track it like an ibmissile, and the other, it just shows up.
rarely does it just disappear. ..
My feeling is that unless you see that at least it was processed out, it is still in the hands of the supplier though.

I have found that quite a few of my 6 and 10 ml bottles fit without the dripper/nipple and they are not the childproof kind. So you may have bottles that will work, just without the dripper top, or Modify.
They are 6 and 10 ml from BackwoodsBrew, the 10ml from MsTs, the 6ml from VaporBomb and I have 6ml from NHaler and PureSmoker line that all fit with out the dripper/nipple.

I am trying to locate the smaller shaped bottles like mine that work with the dripper tip left in place. I need a couple days for responses to come in from suppliers and one actual order from Goodprophets (want to make sure they fit first). None of the bottles I have tried and that work have a child safety type cap. Exception of one and that bottle is hard to squeeze, from wordup ecig-10ml.

I have about 30 sets of the 6ml that fit-just the dripper/nipple doesn't. They are new, never used. If you can't wait for me to find the smaller bottles that work with dripper/nipple I will be willing to get you the 6ml at cost of shipping plus something for bottle. I have no clue what I paid for them. Purchased through a co-op on another board.

thanks for this..:)

hope you got your bottles...

forcedfuel50... cna you explain your procedure for bottle again?
i think you said we'd get one with the VM, and also if you already shipped without them, you will send one after the fact?
I've got big plans for mine and want to be sure... i've got lots of odd bottles around and i'm sure one of them might fit.. but ...

My shipping information went in on the 9th in MN and it wasn't scanned untill the 12th in Tampa. No more scans until south FL on the 13th. I think it just depends on whether or not it's scanned and uploaded and when somebody hits the update button on the server. I thought it was all automated, but I'm wondering.

I ordered 500 bottles that were recommended yesterday by Technonut. Once i get them in, i'll make sure they are the same ones he has and verify their fit and send two bottles, no charge, to those who have purchased a VapeMate and want them. I'll also put them up on the website for those who desire more then two.

Good to hear! In my testing, i've never had it leak. The only way it can leak is if one were to use the wrong bottle or not screw it down tight! Thats the beauty of the one piece design.

It does not leak, but the bottom collar of the bottle is supposed to fit flush with the VM.. I did not use the bottle with the tip in until I tried it in the wee hours this morning. It works, but the tip will need shaved for the bottle to screw all the way to the collar with the drop tip in place.. I was just showing that they will work without shaving if one wants to.. ;)

Personally, I have no need for the drop tip on the bottle as I said before. I used it both ways, and to me, it is much easier to operate by gauging the amount of liquid in the sight glass, and squeezing it in. It would have to be one helluva long car trip for me to burn through 6ml and need to change the bottle without stopping somewhere. :) Regardless, even if I did need to change bottles, I do not find it messy, and no big deal to have extras with the lids on without the dropper tips to reload.

thanks for this..:)
You are so welcome. I just want for all of us to know our choices and I am grateful for anyone else who speaks up about their experiences and choices.
I am a girl and I like for things to be symetrical. Also, we all may have bottles that will work. I have tried every bottle I own from every vendor-LOL. I have included pics of the two bottles discussed. Hope it helps.

In no way could I ever go through 6ml's in one trip! I just like to change flavors when driving. I get bored/tired and need a change up. As you have found, there is no need to alter the dripper tips-they do not leak. What I find though is that the juice does hang onto the threads and at the end of the day-Run a q-tip around the threads.

Isn't it wonderful to have choices?

I have ordered some of the tubing to check out the advantages and I will try it out on both bottles.

I agree 100% about having choices.... :) Any size / shape bottle that is soft, and fits without leaking is golden. I too, have many different bottles from vendors, trading / buying from the classified forum, etc.. I just was lucky to have received a couple of soft, pliable, 6ml bottles with a juicebox the same day the VM arrived. The guy was nice enough to tell me his source, and they happened to be U.S. based, and affordable in bulk, (including shipping) compared to other vendor offerings I have seen.

It is great that forcedfuel50 ordered a bunch, and is making them available to be used as-is, without the drop topper, or cut / shaved if the person wants to.. :)

I am curious about that myself... The bottom-fed juicebox I have works very well squeezing with the tubing..

Seems as if my softsided bottle may be improved by the tubing. As the level of e-liquid decreases in the bottle, the squeeze force needed is increased. I look forward to more investigation into type/size and squeezability (word?).
Did that make sense?

Squeezability is definitely a legitimate word, Gatorgirl. I wouldn't even challenge it in a Scrabble game. I know this because I heard it on a Charmin commercial. (I just gave away my age, didn't I?) <g>

:w00t: One word: WOW!

One year ago, when I first started vaping, devices such as this one were still in the "What if?" stage of development. My hat is off to all the inventive modders in the ecig community!

Of course, no single device will appeal to every vaper. There are enough niches in the existing ecig market that I have no doubt that this device will sell very well to those who are looking for this type of juice delivery device. Sheesh! That's why we have so many mods to choose from now, everyone has different ideas of what they want and/or expect in a personal vaporizer.

Keep up the good work! I also look forward to your future inventions! Woo-hoo!

This device wasn't designed to be an out and about device, it was meant to serve the needs of those who were once addicted to tobacco and need an easier way to vape at home or on the road and this device delivers. It is extremely user friendly, a breeze to switch liquids, doesn't leak and is small and light. Converting back to a drip or carto setup also takes only seconds. It isn't for everyone, but for those hardcore vapers, it's a real pleasure to have. It's also a trick little piece to see in person.

I remember some of the resistance that was expressed when i first invented the drip tip and it went on to be one of the most widespread and used accesories in the ecig community. This is a little more user specific then my drip tip invention, but like all of my products, it works, is well thought out and is executed with precision and care.

I found a way to get more liquid in the atomizer without squeezing the bottle. I don't know if it will damage anything in the process, but it worked on my drive home from work this morning. I have a hard time squeezing while driving, so I just covered up the hole/vent on the side while I took a draw on the drip tip (I did have the bottle tipped so the fluid level was at the top). Worked like a charm.
