Couldn't agree more!!!

The provari is good mod, but the DNA20 isn't even comparable to all the other VW wannabes out there like the Zmax.

If you like the provari and don't want to change....great....but don't try to crap all over someone else because you disagree.

Watch the pbusardo opusD review (dna20) it should shed some better light on the DNA20....or not....and keep posting ignorant posts.

I will give you a big plus one on that...

I have two dna20 boxes and three provari minis I have used both extensively. Until you have put a dna through its paces for a few days you just don't understand. I love my provaris but I also love my HanaMod the both serve different functions but maybe not for long.

Agreed it is not a Provari; but it is awesome. He can call it whatever he likes. Why all the hate. The stock Provari is a great device but it does have its failures. Try pushing a genesis with a full sized wick and coil and you will soon see 13.5 watts just won't get it. I would love to have one once the bugs are worked out but it would have to be able to house an aw 18490 imr or the dna20 will have very short run times. Lose the charger and please no lipo cells.

What's the issue with Lipo (other than the basic ones)?

Some of you are just douchbags, appreciate that the man did something innovative. Some of these provari supremacist need to pull their heads out of their asses.

Best response ever to Provari fanboys. And yes I own a Provari, but I'm tired of getting lumped in with these buttheads. The forum would be a better place without them.

I feel like a VW Provari is a waste. Wattage on a Zmax or whatever you prefer is pulse voltage and the wattage is constant voltage, no spikes. Provari voltage is constant... Why need the VW function?

I have 2 Provari's, A custom built Z-max mod, and a couple of Vamo's. Variable Wattage is the way to go. You can put any atomizer you want on a variable wattage device and it's automatically adjusts the voltage. In my opinion it's far superior than a VV device. You can throw a 1.2ohm atomizer on or a 2.5ohm atomizer on without adjusting anything. Yes a VV device is fine and works but VW is much better.

Wow, all I can say is wow! All this discussion and arguing over something the man has done to HIS provari tube lol. It is cool, personally wanted to see the DNA20 in a tube form factor for a long time and that's why the actual "Cyborg" over at FluidVaper excites me, should land next month, not just a tube DNA20 but a control head that you can change out the battery tube style and put anything on. Making use out of the provari tube is a cool idea, have an empty one from a friend myself I had hoped to do the same thing with. Speaking to the name thing, unless you're being employed by provape to do it, it ain't a provari VW device, it's a home made repurposing of the provari tube with a DNA20 in it, a provari is the tube and guts, take the guts out and put them in a box mod, it's a box mod with a provari brain/circuit in it, ain't nothing to argue lmao. Nicely done though, hope you manage to get the battery and charging circuit all in there to a point you're happy with it, best of luck mate :)

OR you could just make up your mind and buy and/or make an atomizer at one resistance every time. It really is that easy.

lol....now that's rich

I can't and would never try to speak for the masses, but I know that I'm always trying different atty's and configurations. Plus you missed the fact that all coils change resistance over their lifespan, traditionally increasing over time. VW devises adapt to that change giving you as close to a consistent vape as possible over the life of the coil.

Sorry there is nothing easy about making a coil with the exact resistance every time :) What is easy is telling your device that you want to vape at 10 watts and let the device adjust voltage regardless of the ohms of the device you install.

Like I said there is nothing wrong with VV it's better than nothing....but VW is nice to have.

And, just about all mass-produced coils have a tolerance range of resistance, typically +/- .2 ohm, for a .4 ohm spread.

CAN YOU ALL JUST SHUT THE :censored: UP!
OK, i feel better

It's a ProVari with a DNA20 in it...
The OP modded it, let him do as he wishes with it, including calling it what he wants....
Did he rape your first born? no!

Its only a mod on a shelf next to a long line of other mods....
If you take offence to someone modding a ProVari, then you have deeply seeded personal issues.

That being said... does anyone got a spare ProVari shell? I dont want to muck mine up :D
