I love the design, I love the idea but I could never get past the muted taste and even on my BB I get the burnt taste in 20-30 min. I've been told to run them at 3v because they don't wick well. At that voltage vapor is all but nonexestant and forget all about TH!
Both of mine, one still NIB are up for trade in the classifieds! They need work!

i have a regular and a mini......they are good, i can't really complain...i've had a few dry hits but nothing to get me mad or anything

when it comes to a vivi nova vs a carto tank....it kind of a toss up for me, they both have their pro's and con's.....but i can't get these vivi nova's to sit straight on my mod! its always tilted sideways...then again i've had some bad experiences with carto's tasting like crap while they still have some life in them too

Tried them for 2 1/2 weeks (I bought two). Both leak out the bottom prong that connects to the battery now. Happens seemingly randomly but always happens if laid horizontally. Both suffer from extremely hard draw on hits about quarter to halfway through a tank. In order to avoid burnt taste you need to constantly to roll the the tank around before and while you're hitting (which is a bit ghetto honestly) . The flavor is pretty heavily muted compared to cartomizers. Very finicky and not really a set and forget convenience method to vape. The amount of liquid the tank can hold doesn't really matter if other things fail before you can vape it all. They're honestly more frustrating to me now than condom refilling regular cartomizers and switching tiny analog type batteries every couple hours.

So overall I don't like them and will try a carto tank system next. I think there are better solutions out there that are probably even more affordable, no more difficult to use, less finicky and better built (hopefully) but we'll see.

if you're getting burnt flavor, your juice is probably too thick to wick correctly, or the head is gunked up. up until a month ago, my VN ran on nothing but 100% vg, and had an issue the first day with burnt, dry hits. cut 1/2 of one of the sides of the wick off. havent had an issue since.

its a $12 tank, its not going to be perfect, or run flawlessly without any fiddling. the ONLY piece of vaping equipment that i've seen run flawlessly so far is a Provari, and it was $200......

the 4-5 months i've been using a VN has MORE than paid for itself. usually burn out a head every 3-4 weeks, replace it, and its perfect for another 3-4 weeks. im not going to complain at all for $1/week maintenance fee. every other tankful, i usually tear it down, wash it out, rinse the head, pat the wick dry, put the head on the base without the tank, and dry burn it until the wick is dry and the coils un-gunk themselves. usually this is when the coil fails, i'd rather have it burn out with it torn down and empty, than waste a tank of juice.

mines a version 3, by the way. and an actual vision vivi nova, not some chinese knockoff that places are selling for $7-8..... that could have something to do with problems too.

I have a half-dozen of the 3.5' s and never had a problem with any of them. I run all of them with the 1.8 Ohm heads on Inferno batts, a VAMMO & a Lavatube 2 (VV) and love them.... they work better for me than any of the Clearos or Carto/tank systems I've had.

I noticed that for me, running them at lower voltage than "normal" (for a low-Ohm head) gives me much better flavor, and eliminates the burnt taste problem. I've only tried the 2.4 heads once on my favorite juice, but ended up going back to the 1.8 pretty quickly. I guess I'll experiment a bit more later using higher voltage on the other heads, but right now, I hit a sweet spot with the 1.8 Ohm/3.3 volt combo.
I also roll the thing around between pulls to keep the wick & coils well saturated, so I never get any dry hits....but I do the same with clearos, so it's just force of habit.

I think that many people that have had problems have gotten some of the Vivi Nova knock-offs ...there are lots of them out there, and they are pure junk....They might look the same, but they definitely don't perform like a real Vision Vivi.

No leakage, Great flavor, and large plumes of vapor with 70/30, 80/20, and 100% VG.
Just my personal experience.....

only have experience with mini and love it after hating it. needed to open up the rubber top cap
with slits to make wicking easier. careful not to go crazy with oversized slits / notches or it floods. I would love to see them redesign the top rubber cap so the wicking happens without modding it as well as a glass tank would be awesome. no leaking on my mini and is the best non expensive tank I have tried. Tired of all the battery soakers / juice wasters out there. Would love to see a the different sizes incl mini's with glass tanks. I would pay the extra.

I've been using EMDCCs on my eGo batteries and trying to decide whether or not to try a slim Vivi Nova, since there seems to be a lot of talk about them. But this poll shows (slightly) less than 1/2 of the people "Love It", which surprised me. So, I'm still on the fence for now.

Maybe when my Vamo gets here I'll give them a try.

Have been running 10 Vision Vivi Novas now for 5 months and I LOVE them. I suspect many of the haters may have bought the non Vision brand. A friend called me up and was bragging about his cheap Vivi Novas. Leaks, dry hits...an absolute nightmare. Turns out they were clones/ knockoffs. Too bad this thread wasn't titled "Vision Vivi Nova Poll". I think the "Love Its" would've been much higher. No leaks or dry hits. great flavor- heads at 8+ weeks are still firing great but wicks start to shred so I toss it as they're only $1.50 apiece.

I have an Ego-T and am thinking of going with the Vivi Nova. A local shop has 2.5ml tanks for 7.95 which I think will fit my Ego-T better than the 3.5 version they have. I'm concerned about the knock-off comments in this thread. Is there a difference between a Vision Vivi Nova and the Vivi Nova they sell? I know I will get off my Ego tanks eventually, I need to find the right juice before I go down the equipment path. Do I need to get the Vision variety or can I go with the version they sell and still be happy? I want to buy locally for these minimal purchases but I also don't want to buy a bunch of junk that I have to immediately have to replace.
Love this forum for guidance and advice!!!!!
