I love the XL. Mine came with a 2.2 Ohm gold-bottom (standard) 510 Hybrid atty and a 2.2 Silo. The Silo has the coil way off to the side, and even glows: bad taste. But the 510 Hybrid is the only Vapage atty I've gotten so far (out of 5) that doesn't have loose coils or other construction problems. It vapes great. No harsh burnt taste ever. It's got a bit of a "high pin", but it vapes so well, it's worth a little fiddling. If the burner is working well, there's no need for any "special" XL squirshing technique, it just works. If this atty starts to get dry, it just tastes like when you're dripping and need some more - no burned harsh taste.
The whole XL is working really well so far. I do believe both O-rings are important, I hope they offer replacements soon, as they can get a little chewed-up when the atty and "chimney" are screwed down. And bottles too, those narrow necks are a little unusual, they have the same neck diameter as the little Vmod bottles!

Yeah, this is the game changer ... I had no interest in Vmods before (although I thought the Customized Cases were a cool idea).
It annoys the heck out of me when a mod maker stops developing & improving their product once it becomes popular. Yes, re-tooling and making changes in production can be very expensive - but none the less, R & D should be ongoing and forever.
Instead I see a lot of '... if it ain't broke don't fix it - and as long as it's selling ... well then, how broke can it be?'
So .. my hat is off to Vapage (and more to the point, I am now one of their customers) for listening to - and acting on feedback. I think that ... Ooops, ...

Can't wait to get my i06s and AW IMR 18650s! I've been puffin like a madman, because VV spoiled me with warmer vapor. I like the 2.2 Silo carto OK, but ordered the i06s in 1.5 to give the heat I like. I hope I'm not disappointed! I love the way this thing fits so comfortably in my hand and pocket. I have some EPMD rubberized "tape" that"s going on the shell tomorrow to give it a rubberized coating.
Sadly, AG, you were correct about the DC atties not feeding. I tried and failed every which way. I was soooo hoping I could get em to work! Live and learn, right? I may give Bruce @ COV a message to see if there's anything we can do with design to improve the DC atties. This should be a perfect world, dammit! I want my DC atties to work on this puppy!

man i havent bought any new gear for at least 8 - 9 months and rarely post here anymore, but damn for $56 for a vmod xl basic kit is a pretty slickdeal. So i had to place an order for a silver one. Now i need some batts, So whats the best place/price to pick up some 18650's? I sold most of my li-on batts when i sold my p18?
i had to pay the 5 extra I'm on the east and have the waiting problem i hate to wait
